SPACE QUEST III - HINTS 
 
To get off the Junk Ship:
repair the Large Spaceship in the Battlebot's Head. You need: 
Warp Motivator, Nuclear Reactor, Ladder and SQ-approved wire.
 
The Motivator is near the escape ship at the start of the game. 
(USE OVERHEAD GRABBER to get it and put it in the rear section 
of the new ship.
 
Examine wire in Rocket Booster Shell, 2 screens East of Escape 
Ship.
 
Take good wire on left. Ladder and Reactor are in Rat's Lair. Go 
South on Control Room Ramp and you'll fall down a chute that 
leads there.
 
Examine light wires to locate Reactor.
 

A rat mugs you right before you leave, but just return to the 
Lair and get your wire and the reactor back.
 
Get the ladder after climbing out of the lair. Use the ladder to 
climb up on the ship and enter the roof hatch.
 
Put reactor in open floor compartment. Use wire to connect it to 
circuitry.
 
Check diagnostic computer. Sit and type: COMPUTER to access 
controls.
 
Use the Defense System to escape (first activate your radar and 
shields!)  

Stand up and jump off conveyor.
 
To kill the Terminator, go nto the leg, up to the Motor Room, 
when he arrives: push the pulley at him.
 
To survive the Hot Planet, wear thermal underwear.
 
Wear Janitor's uniform and act out his role to get into the 
office without alerting Security.
 
To cheat facial scan, in the office is a poster - use it but be 
careful!

The keycard is on the boss's desk.
 
To escape the Garbage Freighter, climb through eye of giant 
robot head to reach bottom of trash pit and space ship. 

After first encounter with Arnoid the Terminator on Phleebutt, 
go through entrance in west foot of mechanical beast. Ride 
elevator to top and go up stairs to second platform. Stand next
to lower pulley and wait for Arnoid. When he's under pulley 
track and walking toward you, PUSH the PULLEY. Then get his
Invisibility Belt.
 
At Monolith Burgers, order Fun Meal, eat food and get decoder 
ring. Play Astro Chicken and use ring to decode secret message.
 
After blowing up force beam generator on Ortega, walk to 
anemometer at research station and TAKE POLE. USE POLE to cross 
chasm on return trip to ship.
 
A good strategy for winning battle with Elmo Pug is to block as 
many punches as you can, since he'll lose more energy than you.
 
PHLEEBUTT: Enter Worlds of Wonder and sell gem. Take a THIRD 
offer. Buy orat on a stick and underwear. After Terminator's 
warning, quickly return to the screen showing your ship. Avoid 
the ship's entrance and go West, to lure the Terminator under 
the pods. Then use orat to grab his belt.
 
MONOLITH BURGERS: Buy monolith fun meal and eat it at the table. 
Play videogame at SLOW SPEED (use pull-down menu) until secret 
message appears. Use ring.
