Contributions My thanks to this issue's contributors: John R. Barnsley, Joan Dunn, Claire Dyard, Laura Gow, Alex van Kaam, Steven King, Richard Lee, MerC, Darrel O'Neil, Neil Shipman, Andrew Stenhouse, David Stocks, Stormbringer, Tony Sturgess, Marion Taylor, Andy Thompson, Graham Wheeler, Tony Woolcock and to everyone who has been in touch since the last issue. If you have any contributions for future issues of SynTax, please send them in. It doesn't matter if they are for old or new games and what length they are. You can send hints, solutions, reviews, maps, articles - anything! Don't be put off doing a review of an adventure because one has already been printed. I think it is important to get more than one person's impression of an adventure so I can always publish a second or even third opinion - especially if you disagree with the original review! Please keep any "second opinions" short though, there's little point in repeating basic information (plot etc) about the game - unless it's relevant to your views. I'd also welcome hints for games, even after the solution has been published - some people prefer hints. Ideally, I'd like all contributions in flat ASCII form on disk. If you're sending hints, the "3-in-1" format would be preferred, with a maximum of 63 characters/line. Maps can be sent in any form you like so long as they are clear. If you send on disk, I'll replace it with the PD disk of your choice. If you'd prefer a shareware disk, you'll have to send œ1.00 as well to cover the author's fee.
