Competition My apologies for a giant mistake in last issue's competition. I said there were 18 titles hidden in the word puzzle but there were actually only 16. The error arose because I construct the puzzle using a utility and I tried to fit in 18 titles but it could only find room for 16 and I wrote in the wrong figure. There were only 2 entries, each of whom found 16, so congratulations to Mark Bradshaw and Neil Shipman who each won a copy of Interactive Technology's A Dark Sky Over Paradise - thanks again to the author, Martyn Westwood, for providing the prizes. I guess it goes to show that it's worth entering a competition even if you can't find all the answers, but profuse apologies to you all again. After discovering the mistake, I deliberately didn't tell anyone so that everyone was at the same disadvantage! Anyway, the hidden titles were: Invasion, Payoff, Assassin, Hack, Larn, DDST, Moria, Deathstar, Tark, Star Portal, Susan, Pork, Fast Lane, Asylum, Dungeon and Magik. Neil has devised this issue's puzzle and the prize is the software he donated a few issues back - brand new copies of Silicon Dreams and Batman. The closing date for entries is February 15th 1991 and, if there's a draw, the winner will be picked from the hat. Over to you, Neil!........... Connections Can you work out what word connects each of the following ten pairs of names/words? E.g. if the pair was Sean Penn - The Beatles then the connection would be Madonna. (Sean Penn was once married to Madonna - The Beatles had a hit with Lady Madonna.) Now take the first letter of each answer and rearrange the ten letters to give you the title of a well-known adventure. 1 Tutenkhamen - Gwynedd 2 Clint Eastwood - Stavros 3 Kittyhawk - Keith Harris 4 Element - Theatre 5 Princess of Wales - Michael Crawford 6 Moses - Dudley Moore 7 Neil Armstrong - God 8 Ian Botham - Sigourney Weaver 9 Computer - Particle 10 Buddy Holly - SynTax
