Contributions My thanks to this issue's contributors: Angelina the Dangerously Sane, John R Barnsley, Alan Beer, Martin Gardiner, MerC, Nigel Nock, Danny Pearman, Neil Shipman, Stormbringer, Marion Taylor and to everyone who has been in touch since the last issue. As an added incentive to contributors, a points system will run from Issue 12 for contributions at a rate of 1 point per published K of information. At the end of a year (ie Issue 17), prizes will be awarded to the five individuals who have contributed the most information. The winners' points will be zeroed and everyone else's points will be carried forward for the next year. Prizes will be on the lines of SynTax subs, software and PD disks. So, if you have any contributions for future issues of SynTax, please send them in. They can be for old or new games and of virtually any length. You can send hints, solutions, reviews, maps, articles - anything! Ideally they should arrive before the 15th of the month before the disk is produced to be sure of being included in the next issue. Second opinions of adventures are always welcome - especially if you disagree with the original review. Hints for games are also needed, even after the solution has been published, as some people prefer hints. Ideally, I'd like all contributions in flat ASCII form on disk. If you're sending hints, the "3-in-1" format would be preferred, with a maximum of 63 characters/line. Maps can be sent in any form you like so long as they are clear. If you send on disk, I'll replace it with the PD disk of your choice. If you'd prefer a shareware disk, you'll have to send œ1.00 as well to cover the author's fee.
