Competition Congratulations to David Stocks from Edinburgh who won a copy of Beyond Zork in last issue's competition by finding 15 adventure-producing software houses in the word puzzles. The firms were Infocom, Mirrorsoft, Sierra On-Line, ARC, River Software, Psygnosis, AGT, Palace, Delphine, Lucasfilm, Domark, Empire, Origin, Pandora and Paragon. There were six entries, which is surprisingly good for a SynTax competition so I'll keep doing them until the entries drop below that figure. This time, you can win a copy of Sim City for your machine (whatever it is). I've worked out a list of questions, most of them pretty easy, and one letter from each spells out the name of an adventure. I've filled in that name to make it a bit easier and encourage more entries! All you have to do is fill in the remaining spaces and get the finished puzzle (printout or written) to me by 15th June 1991. In the event of a tie, a winner will be selected at random as usual. Sim City is an excellent game and well worth owning but, remember, even if you already have a copy, there's nothing to stop you selling it, giving it away or whatever so do have a go at entering. 1.
