When you start in the Fourth Division, put all your players over
30 years old on the Transfer Market or they will retire at the end
of the season, then save the game. When saved, hire a coach - if
he is not over 90% reset your computer and try again. When you
have a good coach, you are ready to start.

The formation you need for the Fourth Division is:
G3-D2-M2-A2 to G3-D2-M3-A3.
In the Third Division it's:
G4-D3-M3-A3 to G4-D3-M4-A4.
In the Second Division it's:
G5-D4-M4-A4 to G5-D4-M5-A5
And in the First Division it's:
G6-D5-M5-A5 to G6-D5-M6-A6.

This will keep the level on easy. If, for instance, in the Fourth
Division you have a formation of
G2-D3-M3-A3
it will go to the normal level and so on. Until you have
mastered the easy level, don't try the normal or hard or you will
keep losing.

Subs:

Have at least 1G, 2D, 1M and 1A in reserve and an attacker in
Number 12.

Scouts and Physio:

Only have one scout. If you hire three you can try them out - sack
two and keep the best one.

It is best to have a physio over 75% but you can get away with any
% with a physio.

Building a Stand:

Try to build a stand in the Third or Fourth Division otherwise
they get too expensive and you will get into debt (and might have
to sell Gazza)

Shares:

Don't sell more than 60,000 or you will be sacked. On the other
hand, if you are not doing very well, you can get yourself sacked
by selling loads of shares - you will always get an offer from
another club.

Bank and Money:

Try not to mortgage unless you have to.

If you have a lot of money buy a player or shares, otherwise your
directors will take it and you'll be broke again.

League and Cup Bonus:

Put your League Bonus up œ100.00 in each Division and put your Cup
Bonus up œ20.00 every time you get into the next round.

Saves:

Save your game after about every ten games and before the FA Cup
and League Cup Finals, then if you do lose you can have another
go.

Youth Team:

Hire 16-year-olds, then you have until they are 18 before you have
to put them into the first team.

Follow these rules and you will win everything eventually.
