Editorial I can't believe how quickly the last two years have flown - SynTax starts its third year this issue and it's got a new loading screen logo, courtesy of Tom Green of High Voltage Software one of the authors of Cortizone; many thanks to him for that. Also to celebrate and say "thanks" to all of you for supporting the magazine so far, you'll find another disk in this package with an adventure on it ... free! ... courtesy of John Wilson of Zenobi Software. Cheers, John! He has actually given me the rights to four of his games so that I can give each of you a free copy of one of them. I've copied the same number of each game and am giving them out in equal numbers so I don't know which one any of you has received and as they all have the same label, you won't know either until you load the disk! John has also made a special offer to SynTax readers over his complete range of ST adventures, and you'll find a leaflet detailing the offer in this package too. Amiga owners haven't been forgotten! As John doesn't produce Amiga adventures, I have enclosed an Amiga game for them and I hope you will all enjoy the disks you have received. The Amiga game is PD but I'd just like to stress that the ST Zenobi game isn't, so please treat it as you would any other commercial game. Thanks. Now, I have some exciting news for you! From October, Marion Taylor and I will be producing a new fanzine called Red Herring. You'll find a leaflet about it in with this disk. Like SynTax, Red Herring will be bi-monthly and though there will be some natural connections between the two magazines, we intend to cover different material in each as much as possible so that they complement each other, giving you a continuous supply of adventure and RPG reviews, hints, solutions, news and so forth EVERY month. I hope that you'll be interested in giving the new magazine a try. Marion and I are very excited about this new venture and I know we'll have a lot of fun producing it, just as I have with SynTax. Sue
