IOWA - World of Adventures

@~Colin recently bought a modem and wrote to me about IOWA, which
@~is a bulletin board based in Caterham. Here are his comments
@~about it.

IOWA is excellent, I must say. Great fun as it's devoted to on-line
multi-user adventure games. Best thing about it is it's FREE! You
may have heard of the games, viz Parody/Prodigy, Chaos, Mirrorworld
and Quest. I jumped into Parody without reading the instructions
and got a bit confused! Met a couple of nice people though!

Second logon I encountered some yobs who, for some reason, thought
I was one of the higher up players come to spy on them, teleported
me to a dingy dungeon for a good few minutes. When I got out I
decided that I'd be a bit daft and I viciously kissed one of the
females. Good laugh, actually, until she and her male thugs
chased me around the landscape firing fireballs at me!! I ended
up hiding in the casino! I'll have to change my character's name
next time I logon as I still think they think I'm an experienced
player spying on them (paranoid nutters!)
