1.  Dungeon Master.  Just about the only game that has had me 
                     refusing to go to bed.  In a class of its own.


2.  Trinity.         There's something about this game. I'm not 
                     sure if it's the subject matter or what, but 
                     it's the best thing that Infocom has ever 
                     done.
3.  Leather Goddesses of Phobos.  From the scratch 'n' sniff in 
                     the toilet at the start to the wonderful 
                     ending, this had me laughing like a loony.
4.  Planetfall.      How could anyone resist Floyd? 
5.  Infidel.         Sorry about all the Infocom, but... Great 
                     atmosphere, enjoyable puzzles. Too short, 
                     maybe too easy, but still a classic.
6.  Phantasie III.   The Ultima series could have done with a bit 
                     of sideways influence from these. A nice 
                     simple system with painless combat. A game 
                     that lasts about the right amount of time. 
7.  Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Good fun. Some bits are a 
                     bit hard, but it's always worth trying 
                     something just for the messages.

8.  Chaos Strikes Back.  Not quite up to the standard of the 
                     original, but still enjoyable. Too lethal at
                     the start, too easy at the end.
9.  Fish.            7 Deadly Fins and an impossible maze, but 
                     the pictures are so clever and the puzzles 
                     are just right.
10. Football Director II.  OK, so it's not an adventure, not even 
                     remotely, but the tension generated by the 
                     silly "show only the goal" system is just 
                     unbelievable. I like it, so there!

Finally, one nomination for the worst game:
1.  Galdregon's Domain.  Just SO bad - you even have to kill your 
                     friends!

@~I think I'd have to say Legend of Djel for worst game because
@~it was unintelligible and not at all user-friendly. Anyone else
@~got a "worst game" vote?
