Editorial Hello again! There was a great panic in the Medley household just after the last issue went out when my ST decided to pack in. As it's six years old, we thought we'd have to buy a new one but there seems to be a great shortage of STs about. Help came in the form of Paul Rossiter of C & P Rossiter who advertise ST repairs in ST Applications. A bulky package winged its way north to Nottingham and within no time at all, my old ST was back in working order. The cost? Just œ25 plus carriage! So if you ever have problems with your ST or drive or want an upgrade done, I'd recommend you try Paul first. Contact him on 0602-631631, 9am to 8pm Wednesday to Saturday or write to C & P Rossiter, 48 Park Drive, Hucknall, Notts, NG15 7LU. Thanks to everyone who returned a Red Herring leaflet since last issue; the first issue is coming on well and is on target for October. Marion and I are really pleased with the way it's looking and we'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to the first issue already. If you haven't returned your leaflet, there's still plenty of time, of course! Last issue I had news about Red Herring and I've got news again this time. From now on you can buy the range of Zenobi ST adventures through SynTax. Four more of Jack Lockerby's titles have been added recently and there are more games planned for the near future. The games are being sold as licenceware so the authors still get their royalty payments and I'm selling them as cheaply as possible so that you'll all get the best deal possible. Though other libraries will be selling them for œ3.99, from SynTax you'll pay œ3.49 for a two-disk game or œ2.99 for single-disk games. I'll let you know about new titles as they're added. There's a shortage of screenshots this issue because I'm finding them increasingly difficult to capture, with games either being too heavily protected for Multiface ST to cope or the authors using two different resolutions on the screen as happens sometimes with STAC games. Luckily screenshots came low down in the list of favourite sections of the magazine when the questionnaires were returned. The only ones I could capture that were appropriate for this issue were so old and well-known that it seemed better to use the space for something else, rather than just stick them in for the sake of it. Perhaps I'll have more luck next time. Well, that's it. Enjoy the disk and see you in November. Sue
