Eye of the Beholder - Amiga crashes (continued)

A few issues ago it was mentioned in SynTax that people playing
Eye of the Beholder on the Amiga were finding it was prone to
crash when they went up and down staircases or through portals.

Andy rang recently and said that he'd heard this problem can be
caused by the external drive which is accessed at these times. He
said he noticed that was when it always crashed for him. If you
play the game using just the single Amiga drive and swapping
disks, it can solve the problem.  He hasn't had a chance to try it
out but if you've been having the same problem, why not give it a
go - and let me know how you get on!
