Steve's Hints 'n' Tips Sent in by Steve McLaren This issue, Steve covers Sabre Team, Curse of Enchantia, Conquest of Camelot and The Four Symbols. Sabre Team ---------- Once you have got your team and equipped them, deploy them and make a save game disk. Save your position before you start off and if you get into trouble within the first five minutes of the game you can just reload from the start point. Also have another save disk for your progress, once you have taken your moves and the enemy has taken their moves you can save your position if they have not shot you. That's how I did it. Also try to hide behind trees and wells and buildings but watch the windows. They have no glass in them and you can get shot and you can shoot the enemy as well through the windows. Make sure you never use up all your action points as you will not have an opportunity to move and shoot the enemy if need be. Take some risks but work them out before you do. Curse of Enchantia ------------------ Dungeon Cell: At the start you find yourself chained up in shackles and upside down so call out for some help and a guard will walk in and drop a key. Pick up the key and then unlock your shackles. This key is no use to unlock the door so look around on the walls. You will need to push a wall to gain entrance and you will find a paper clip. This will help you to pick the lock and then you can escape. Hallway: You will need the fish bowl sooner than you think. Under the Sea: You'd better wear that fish bowl before you drown. Be a kind soul and free that fish, then walk to your left and say hi to the fish. This will help to work out what the fish wants so he can help you with some air. Big Rock Cave: Pick up the plank, then attach to the big boulder. Stand near the plank and then throw the computer. (One of those STs I expect. Oops, sorry, Sue). @~Reminds me of Chrono quest! STs vs Amigas ... Sue Conquest of Camelot ------------------- Stone Riddles: Lighter than what I am made of, more of me is hidden than seen. Answer:ICEBERG I am only useful when I am full, yet I am always full of holes. What am I? Answer:SIEVE You can see nothing else when you look in my face, I will look you in the eye and I will never lie. Answer:MIRROR I am always hungry, I must always be fed, the finger I lick will soon turn red. What am I? Answer:FIRE I go round in circles but always straight ahead, never complain no matter where I am led. What am I? Answer:LODESTONE Riddle Bush: In time of grief, it gives me relief, I can lessen fears, ease the pain of tears. Answer:POPPY Oh it is splendid, it has no peer, it scorns the lesser and holds itself dear. Answer:SUNFLOWER It alleviates all pain and sorrow, the final end of all tomorrow, that to which we all must go, rich or poor, high or low. Answer:DAFFODIL Southampton Docks: Talk to the old man, ask for Gaza, then pay man for Gaza 3 gold. This will get you on the boat to Gaza. Gaza: When you reach Gaza, follow the boy to Al Sirat ... The Four Symbols ---------------- How to catch the mouse: First of all you will need the medium size ball. Go to the small room and examine the armour. Push armour - a gauntlet will fall off. Get gauntlet, wear gauntlet, remove gauntlet and you will be wearing a glove. Remove cheese from pocket (what do you mean, what cheese?), go to where you landed and when you see the mouse, roll the medium ball. This will trap the mouse by his tail (poor thing). Examine mouse, get mouse, feed mouse. This will pacify the mouse. The mouse will help you with the table to get the ruby symbol.
