MYSTERY 2144AD

         A solution by David Froude on the Amiga

This is a game written by David Hearne using Microdeal's Talespin.
The compass directions for this solution are with reference to the
first screen.

East. Visit "house with a heart". Ask how she can help you with
your investigation and she gives you the address of Orlando's
daughter, Victoria.

West. Visit Victoria, "house with coloured triangles". Ask what
she knows about Orlando to obtain the address of Orlando's
secretary, Tiffany.

East. Visit Tiffany, "house with triangles". Ask how she can help
you with your investigation and she gives the address of Kerri
Satcher, her friend.

West, north. Visit Kerri, "black house". Ask Kerri what she can
tell you about Orlando. She suggests you talk to Detective Tyne
and Sarah Travis.

South. Visit the police station, "yellow house". Speak to
Detective Tyne. Ask for help and he gives you ten credits for
bribes.

Visit Dr. Hopkins, "house with cross". Give him the credits and he
gives you his daughter April's address.

East. Visit April, "red house with 2 lines". Ask to take April out
for a meal. She declines but gives you Angela's address.

West. Angela can give you no useful information but click on white
square just north of her "blue" house to find a letter which is
from Tiffany to Angela.

East. Ask Tiffany, "house with triangles" about the letter. She
talks of Jenny who sings a stupid song every time she visits
Angela or Kerri.  West. Click on the birds and make them
sing.

Visit Angela, "blue house". Ask Angela about the singing bird.
She gives Jenny's address.

North. Visit Jenny, "orange house". Ask Jenny about the song. She
says go find Joey.

South. Visit Joey, "grey square house with black circle. A young
man with long hair appears. Ask about his relationship with Jenny.
Ask him to tell you about Terri. He talks about Terri's grave.

East, north. Terri's grave, "a grey tombstone" provides a piece of
paper with Terri's address.

West. Visit Terri, "second black house" and ask her to help you
with your investigation and she will tell of the guy with an eye
patch and where she buried a key. Leave the house and click on the
key to pick it up.

Visit Sarah Travis, "purple house". Ask her about herself. Ask her
to tell you about Orlando and she says Travis, her husband,
murdered Orlando.

East. Visit "large blue house". Use key for locked room and talk
to Travis (the man with the eye patch). Ask about Sarah. Accuse
Travis of the murder.

West. Visit Sarah Travis, "purple house" and ask if she has any
evidence. She says she gave a note to Jacki and gives you her
address.

North. Visit Jacki, "blue house". Ask about the note, she denies
that she has it.

South, south. Visit the police station, "yellow house", talk to
Detective Tyne and get some more credits.


North, north. Visit Jacki, "blue house". Give credits to Jacki
who tells you she put the note in an old cave.

South, south. Visit the police station, "yellow house", talk to
Detective Tyne and get some more credits.

Visit Dr. Hopkins, "house with cross", give him a donation and he
will give you a torch.

North, north, east. Click on cave, use torch and read note. It
says "Orlando, pay me or die, Travis". This is the evidence you
need.

West, South, south. Visit the police station "yellow house", talk
to Detective Tyne. Tell him Travis killed Orlando and you have the
evidence to prove it. He is amazed and congratulates you.

You have successfully completed the game..
