Heimdall 2 - Part 2 Solution by Andy Stenhouse @~Continued from last issue Go through the far left gate. Get the flask and the Niflheim Talisman. Go to Kariel, the man on the hammock. Go to the top right screen to enter your ship. Go to the village. Get the money. Don't kill the guard. Enter the village. Enter the door on the left. Kill the guard. The slaves will give you a sword (the best one in the game). Go out. Get the flask. Enter the next door. Kill the guard. Get the flask. Go out. Get the rune then go down the stairs. Open the door on the right. Make sure that you have lots of energy before you go in as there are two guards in here. The door on the left is a shop so you can get supplies if you need them. When you've killed the guards, get the scroll they drop. It's the resurrect scroll so now if one of your characters dies you can bring them back to life. Go back to the ship. Go to Dakta H.Q. The hut on the left is a shop. Get the rune. Go up. Another tricky bit. You must jump down when the object is near the bottom of the screen then run to the alcove. Push the loose brick to make the stairs appear. Go up and through the top door. Kill your double and the Dakta. Get the Tal Ker'yn Talisman. Go through the bottom left exit. Get the scroll. Go down the right stair. Get the money from the boxes. Be careful here, there's a monster hiding in the pile of gold. Go back to your ship. Go to the island with question marks. Get the scroll. Enter the cave and kill the guards. In the next room, read the scroll, it gives you clues to the path you must take across the room. The runes you must stand on are as follows - sigil, hagall, beorc, eh, winn, epel, osk, thorn, os and feoh. The door will open. Get the flask and go in. You will see the Ro'geld of Her Ker'yn suspended in the air. To get it down you must shoot an arrow into each of the mouths. I found that if you do the bottom ones first you will lose it because it will bounce over the edge before you can get it, so start at the top. When you have it, go back to the Hall of Worlds and go through the gate on the far right to Tal Ker'yn. After Ander has spoken, enter the first door on the right. Get the scroll and kill yourself. Yes, you heard right. Kill both characters by touching the object. Go through the light on the wall. Get the rune, the crown, the axe and the symbol. Go back to the fountain. Enter the first door on the left. Put the crown on the stone head. Enter the circle to be judged. Get the symbol. Go through the next door on the left. Enter all the teleports until you have all the objects. The list is as follows - armour, helm, mirror shield, scroll, two flasks and the symbol. Make sure that you give the armour to one of your characters and the helm to the other or the bridge to the cloud where the symbol is will not appear. Leave this room. Go to the one opposite. If you want lots of arrows, just step aside and let the man fire them at you. When you have enough, fire them back at him to kill him. Another man will appear. Kill him and get the symbol. When you leave here, enter the next door on the right. Walk off the platform from the arrow on the left and follow the path to the symbol. Leave the same way. Go through the last door to Ander. He will tell you to pick the seeds from three plants. The descriptions are as follows: 1. Inedible, fertile and medicinal. 2. Edible, infertile and not a weed. 3. Edible, medicinal and a weed. When you plant them, you will get the last symbol. Take all six symbols to the corridor and put them in the holes. The door will open. Go in and put the mirror shield in the slot at the top of the stairs. Get the Ro'geld, the book and the rune then go back to Ander. Go back to Druid's Grove and give Ander's symbol to the druid. He will open a new door. Go in and get the rune, the scroll and the money. Step onto the turtle's back. Climb the stairs. The fire spirit will teleport you to the Hall of Worlds. Go back to the first Hall of Worlds. Go through the big gate at the top right with the glowing eyes. The fire spirit will now take you across to Niflheim. Get two piles of dragons' teeth. Enter the building. Kill the monsters. If you cast a protection from fire spell you can walk across the lava instead of bothering with the path. Shoot an arrow into each of the mouths to stop the lava at the door so you can enter. Continue on this path, killing monsters, until you reach Hela. Push the brick to the right of the throne to open a secret door. Place one tooth in each circle to activate the teleport circle. Go down the stair on the left and get the dragon's eye. Go down the other stair and place the eye in the dragon's head but don't use the teleport, just leave by the bottom exit. Follow the path, killing monsters, until you reach Loki. Get the Sho Ker'yn Talisman. Enter Sho Ker'yn. Kill the Dakta. Get the flask. Push the brick on the top right corner of the room to open a secret door. Kill some more Dakta and go on to the next room. I would advise you to save the game here as it's a hard room to cross. The floor is covered with yellow and purple runes with just a few blank spaces. You will have to time it so that when the purple runes disappear, you run to the next blank tile. In the next room get the flask, then enter the room to the right as Ursha and kill your double. Then repeat with the left room as Heimdall. Go through the now open gate. If you drink from the fountain, you should know that the left side is poisoned but the right side is safe. Go through the left exit and kill the Dakta. Step into each teleport circle until you can reach the top door. The room beyond looks hard but it's not. Just disarm yourself, turn towards the exit and press fire to get the medallion. Go back to the fountain then up. Kill the Dakta. Cut all the ropes. Cross the bridge into the next room. Throw the medallion at Ashok then follow Loki. Give Loki what he deserves to finish the game. - o -
