Endurance - On PD 721
            (3D Construction Kit Game for ST)

Endurance is a game produced using the 3D Construction Kit. As
with 3D Construction Kit games, the graphics are basic and the
sound is almost non-existent. Control of the game is via the
mouse.

The game is set in the future in 2500AD. You play the part of a
soldier who has been given a rather risky assignment by his rather
dotty boss. Station 36 is to be demolished to make way for a new
hyper-space highway. Your commander is not very happy about the
station being demolished and he has ordered you to prevent this
happening. Your task is to disarm the explosives and make good
your escape from the station.

The game starts with you in one of the rooms in the station. The
first task is to escape from the room.  Unfortunately I found this
very hard to do. This was because I found the game controls very
hard to use, due to the fact that they were very unresponsive.
Your first task is to find a pass for the door. And even though I
knew what to do, I found it very hard to do the correct thing
before the station blew up.

I think the game will only appeal to somebody with a lot of
patience. It may be that once you get into the game, you will
enjoy it. But I think most people will lose interest before this
stage is reached. It may be that with a bit more work on the game
together with a bit more time to complete the game, a good game
will be produced. But at the moment I think it will only appeal to
the hardened adventurer.
