Valhalla (Part 2) - Levels 3 and 4 Solution by Andy Stenhouse @~Continued from last issue Level 3 - Code UHGWIL Don't move or you'll fall through the floor. Turn to the tomb and take the cement. Drop it on one of the cracked tiles. Get the monocle. Look at the tomb. "The Poet". Get the kirby grip. Turn on the tap. Get the apple. Get the key. Open the drain. Get the arrow. Put the arrow in the crossbow. Remove the book from the stump and put the apple on it. Remove the cement from the drain and open it. Get the seeds. Pull the lever. Get the sweet from the stump and give it to the toffee lover. Get the two bottles. Go to the bottom of the room and drink the Drink of Sight. A door will appear. Open it with the key. Enter the room. Get the bag of sand. Put the seeds in the plant pot. Turn on the tap. Get the flower. Return to the previous room. Put the flower in the vase. Get the Ring of Goodwill and the poetry. Return to the other room. Put the ring on the Altar of Dispute. Get the white dove. Go back to the other room. Stand in front of the River Keeper and look at the white dove. He will now let you cross. Get the French drama. Pull the lever. Go to the west of the room and open the door with the kirby grip. Enter the room. Don't stand in front of the sweet or it will disappear. Drop the sand in front of the sweet. You can now get it. Get the kettle. Pull the lever. Get the match. Put the kettle in front of the tap and turn it on. Retrieve the kettle. Put the match on the grill then retrieve it. Put the kettle on the grill. Get the key. Open the door with the key. Return to the second room. Give the sweet to the toffee lover. Get the Miracle Drink. Return to the Poet's Tomb. Put the poetry on the tomb. Drink the Miracle Drink. Look at the poetry. Get the slippers. Return to the previous room then head west to the new room. Give the slippers to Grandad. Get the sweet. Give the sweet to the toffee lover at the top right of the room, the other one is a trap. Get the cannonball. Get the song. Look at the tomb. "The Wizard". Re-enter the room to the east. Put the cannonball in the cannon, drop the match at the other end. One loud bang later you can now enter the room to the east. Open the drain. Get the quill. Return to the inkwell beneath the cannon and put the quill in it. Get the Globe of Wisdom and the Hercules Drink. Return to Grandad. Drink the Hercules Drink. Get the piano. Go all the way east into the room you just opened. Put the piano on the Musician's Tomb. Play the piano and a lever will appear above you. Pull it to open a door to the south. Enter the new room. You will need a piece of cement; there's lots of them about. Put it on the crack to get the sweet. Look at the child. "I want Fluffy". Drink the Green Fingers Drink. Get the leaf from the bottom left plant. Return to the cannon room. Put the leaf on the herbalist's bowl. Get the Healing Potion. Return to where you left the piano. Give the sweet to the toffee lover. Get the teddy bear (Fluffy). Get the Choral Drink. Get the cross from Uncle George. Give him the monocle. Give him the French drama which he will translate for you. Return to the child and give her Fluffy. Get the key. Return to the cannon room. Put the music on the Singer's Tomb. Drink the Choral Drink. Look at the music. Go to the first room. Give the English drama to Lord Monty. Enter the room to the west. Stand before the River Keeper and look at the Globe of Wisdom. Cross over and get Shakespeare's Drink. Return to Lord Monty and drink it. Look at the drama. Give him the Healing Potion. Get the plate. Return to the room with the child. You can now enter the room to the south. Look at the top tomb. "The Gypsy". Look at the bottom tomb. "The Cook". Open the drain. Get the royal seal. Open the door with the key. Return to Grandad's room. Put the royal seal on the royal note. Get the wand and the heather. Return to the Gypsy's Tomb. Put the heather on the tomb. Get the bad luck horseshoe. Go to the room west of the first room. Put the horseshoe on the mirror. Get the good luck horseshoe. Return to Uncle George's room. Face the River Keeper and look at the horseshoe. Cross the river. Get the cement and put it on the crack. Get the crystal. Pull the lever. Return to the Cook's Tomb. At the top of the room are four faces of evil. Put the crystal in the third one from the left. It will cast a spell on you. Run as fast as you can to the Wizard's Tomb. Put the wand on it. Look at it. "Abracadabra". Get the canvas. Return to the room you just left. Go east into a new room. Get the tile marked 2. Open the drain. Get the recipe. Return to the Cook's Tomb. Put the recipe on it. Get the dough. Go back to the east. Get the plank. Put the canvas on the Artist's Tomb. Get the painting and the candle. Return to Grandad's room. Give the painting to Lord Terry. Look at his face. He will tell a bad joke, then give you a plate. Put the plates on the table, the one with the cross top left and the one with the arrow top right. Put the candle in the holder. Get the key. (You won't need the book). Return to the previous room. Open the door with the key. Enter the room. Put the plank on the Carpenter's Tomb. (Don't touch the saw yet). Put the dough on the oven. Get the Bread of Plenty. Put the cross on the Priest's Tomb. Get the wreath. Return to the previous room. Stand before the River Keeper and look at the bread. Cross the river. Get the Blade Resist Drink. Pull the lever. Return to the Carpenter's Tomb. Drink the Blade Resist Drink. Get the saw. Return to the previous room. Give the saw to Lord Diaboly. Return to the room with the child. The two chests are now open. Get the bee and the Potion of Sermon. Return to the Cook's Tomb. Give the wreath to Lord Charles. Drink the Potion of Sermon. Look at the wreath. Get the plate. Return to Lord Diaboly. Try to get the saw. "Ow, it's Sharp." Lord Diaboly asks "What is your ambition?" Go north to the Priest's Tomb. Get the Staff of Honour. Return to the child's room. Face the River Keeper and look at the Staff. Cross the river. Get the King. Go to the mixing bowl. Put in the 2, the bee and the King. Get the To Be The King. Return to Lord Diaboly. Face him and face the To Be The King. Get the plate. Return to the table. Put the plate with the circle bottom left and the plate with the diamond bottom right. The door to the east will now open. Go into the new room. Place the objects on the five hands in the order as follows: the dove, the globe, the horseshoe, the bread and the staff. Read the sign. Enter the passage. Go right at the junction. Keep walking to reach the end. Level 4 - Code ABHEFT Be careful of the trapdoors on this level as they are hard to see. The tiles that open are also a bit hard to see. There's one at the start. Open the tile. Read the book. Head east then south. Get the phrase book. Get the match. Go right. Get the paper marked "Go to sleep". Open the tile. Get the coin. Get the warming pan. Continue east. Get the paper marked "Hello". Return to the first room. Put the match on the grill. Retrieve the lit match. Press the tap to extinguish the grill. Get the chicken leg. Relight the grill with the match. Return to where you got the "Hello" paper. Give the chicken leg to the creature. Get the necklace and the record. Go west. Put the record on the gramophone. Pull the lever. Put the warming pan under the tap and turn it on. Retrieve the warming pan. Return to the grill. Put the warming pan on it. Retrieve the pan. Put the coin on the sticky mark. Get the stamp. Go south. Put the stamp in the album. Get the key. Go east. Put the pan on the bed. Get the sleeping potion. Go east then north. Put the potion on the table. Get the Drink of Voices. Go west. Stand in front of the door and drink the Drink of Voices. Look at "Go to sleep." Open the door with the key. Go north. Pull the lever. Go north. Get the rose. Pull the lever. Go south then west. Get the tile marked "Yes". Continue west. Get the tile marked "No." Go west. Open the tile. Get the dentures. Return to the bed. Put the dentures in the glass. Pull the lever. Go west into the new room. Examine the three shrines, the Psychic, the Bishop and the Queen. Get the candle. Open the tile. Get the coin. Return to the room with the phone. Put the coin in the phone. Look at "Hello". Get the crook. Leave this room and go north. Put the crook on the Bishop's hand. Get the bell. Get the book from the first room. Return to the Bishop's shrine. Put the bell, book and candle on the shrine. Get the ring. Return to the room west of the phone. Put the ring in the Bishop's hand. Get the Drink of Voices. Return to where you got the bell. Get the paper that says "You are Forgiven." Return to the phone room. Stand in front of the slave. Drink the Drink of Voices. Look at "You are Forgiven." Put the phrase book on the shredder. Drop "You are Forgiven." Get the paper marked "The Gardener" and "To See the Lord." Leave the room and go north. Stand to the left of the counsellor who's awake. Look at him. "Who are you?". Say "The Gardener". He will ask "Are you sure?" Say "Yes". He says "Prove it". Drop the rose in front of him. Get the glue. The counsellor to the left is now awake. Look at him. "What do you want?" Say "To See the Lord." He will say "Are you sure?" Say "Yes". "Show me a summons." Leave the room and go east. Put the necklace in the jewellery box. Get the queen's crown. Get the pawn. Open the tile. Get the Drink of Light Feet. Enter the small room to the south. Put the glue on the table. Try to get the key and it will avoid you and get stuck on the glue. Get the key and use it on the door to leave. Go north. Put the pawn on the chessboard. Get the queen. Return to the queen's bedroom. Put the queen on the bed. Get the phrase book. Return to the phone room. Remove the other phrases from the shredder. Put the new phrase book in the shredder. Get "It's me, your son." Go to the queen's shrine. A voice will say "Who are you?" Put the phrase "It's me, your son" on the shrine and look at it. Get the Drink of Voices. Go to the phone room. Get the phrase "I want a summons". Return to the queen's bedroom. Face the queen's secretary. Drink the Drink of Voices. Say "I want a summons." He will ask "Who for Milady?" Say "The gardener". Get the summons. Return to the counsellor. Give him the summons. Get the key. Unlock the door. Before you go up the corridor you will need the phrases "A humble slave", "To swear allegiance" and "I was born here." Every time you go up or down this corridor you will be drained of most of your energy and will have to drink some stamina. Stand in front of Infinity and look at him. "What do you want?" Say "To swear allegiance." He will say "Who are you?" Say "A humble slave." He will say "Where are you from?" Say "I was born here." He will say "Bring me food." Get the key. Get the caterpillar. Go east. Put the caterpillar on the leaf. Remove the caterpillar. Open the tile. Get the bone. Go south. Open the door. Enter Lord Infinity's bedroom. Get the phrase "It's me, your son." Get the tarot card. Return to the throne room. Put the bone in the dog's bowl. Get the key. Open the door. Go to the psychic's shrine. Put the tarot card on it. Get the crystal ball. Return to the phone room. Put the crystal ball on the black silk. Get the thimble and the Drink of Spells. Return to the queen's bedroom. Put the thimble on the tapestry. Get the needle. Return to Infinity's bedroom. Drink the Drink of Spells. Read the spell book. Get the bread. Return to Infinity. Give him the bread. He will ask "Are you loyal?" Say "Yes." He will ask "Have you heard of the Prince of Valhalla?" Say "Yes." He will say "Have you seen him?" Say "No." He will say "I have heard rumours." Say "I have heard nothing." He will say "Bring me my night cap." Get the chalice. Put the needle in the voodoo doll. Drink the Drink of Light Drink. You must do the next bit quickly. Pull the top lever and go north. Follow the path to the junction then go east then south. Follow the path to the crown. Get the crown. Return to the queen's bedroom. Put the crown on the king's shrine. "Who are you?" Put "It's me, your son" on the shrine. Read it. Get the Light of Valhalla. Return to the room with the four counsellors. Half fill the chalice at the tap. Return to Infinity's bedroom. Fill the chalice. Return to the throne room. Give Infinity the chalice. He will say "I know you, don't I?" Say "Yes." He will say "Who are you?" Don't answer or you will die. Get the staff. Return to Infinity's bedroom. Use the staff to cross the gap. Get the tape recorder. Return to the throne room. Put the Light of Valhalla on the altar. Put the tape recorder in front of Infinity. Press the recorder and it will say "Prince of Valhalla." Infinity will shoot the Light of Valhalla with beams from his eyes. Get the dagger and use it to kill Infinity and end the game. - o -
