Freddy Pharkas - The Solution (HD version) Solution by Dave Stone Have a look around, look at everything and talk to everyone. The locations you need are all available at the start. The following solves the problems, but may not give maximum points. ACT 1 - Pharmacology When you are familiar with all the main locations unlock and enter the pharmacy. You will have four customers. Penelope - Dispense the alternative recommended in the pharmacy guide. Ms Back - Make up the required prescription. Madame Ovaree - The prescription is illegible, go to the Doc in the Saloon, pick up the glass & use it with the prescription. Try making it up - it has unfortunate consequences. Return to the Doc and show him the prescription, make up the amended version. Blacksmith - Preparation G is on the top of the left hand counter of the pharmacy. ACT 2 - The Hero Flatulent Horses - You need the Bean tin from the Cafe, the ice pick from behind the saloon, and charcoal & the leather belt from the Blacksmiths. Use pick, charcoal & belt with tin to make a mask. Return to pharmacy to make a batch of Aminophyllic Citrate & pour into the horse trough. Snails - Give cash to barman at Saloon. Use key from church door on bottles. Cross the bridge and pick up snails. Give them the beer. Give snails to Ma at cafe when you pass. Indian - Use ladder from children's slide on anthill. The Runs - Make up Bisalicylate Antitoxidene. Use the elixir on the cart at the back of the saloon to fuel the lamp. Get the ladder from the anthill and use it on the water tower. Pick up the ladder and use it on the platform. Climb. Manipulate the rope and lasso the top of the tower. Climb the rope, open the hatch and pour in the solution. Fire - Collect the Baking Soda from the shop front and put it on the see saw. Use the swing until you are going high then jump onto the roof. This may take quite a few goes so save first. Now visit the Brothel, once in, collect the postcards. ACT 3 - The Return of the Cowboy. Get claim check from drawer, key from bedside cabinet and suit from chest. Open roll top desk and drawer, read letter. Go downstairs and outside to get horse manure. Give claim check and postcards to barber to get boots and gas cylinder. Get wax from candles in church and enter graveyard, dig grave and get key. Get a lump of clay & refill grave. Go to bank & give safe deposit key to clerk. Get guns and neckerchief. Enter cafe and get coffee. Drop horse manure then nip round the back to pinch the pie. Give coffee and pie to sheriff and receive ammunition & a gun cleaning kit. Clean then load guns. Go back towards the church & save. Set up bottles on the fence. Select a practise level & do your worst. Go to General Store & show wax to Willie - for a lesson in casting. Leave then re-enter shop & borrow knife. Whittle wax. Use clay with wax. Return to pharmacy and collect medallion from back wall. Enter back room. Heat medallion in crucible. Warm mould to release wax. Use mould with crucible, remove clay and wear ear - you are now a well dressed hero. ACT 4 - The Silver Eared Stranger You face a series of increasingly life threatening challenges, all of which can be solved with items close to hand. Poker : Examine the card sharp & click on his third hand. When hiding behind the table aim your gun at the brass pipe running round the base of the bar counter. Hoods: Go out the back door and up onto the balcony. Put the gas on the rail. Use the back road to approach the summerhouse opposite the brothel and shoot at the gas canister. Shootup: Select a level for the shooting range. Kenny (1): Use the red neckerchief on the bleeding ear. Penelope: First touch your gun belt to drop guns, then pick up slate on left. Fire: Rock chair until it falls over. Crawl over to ear on floor and rub it to sharpen. Use ear on ropes. (You will need to be very quick with the chair rocking). Fencing: Grab sword & select level - you should win on the easy one. Remember to select sword from inventory. Kenny (2): Throw ear at him. Enjoy the final ballad - because sadly this is the end - you have saved Coarsegold. (But has Penelope survived for the sequel?). Oh, you only get 981 points out of 999 - sorry!! - o -
