               A Few Tips c/o Steve McGuire

1. Don't use the hybrid characters - go for the barbarian, because
he hits hard and often; the dwarf, because he is a good fighter
and he has tools for disarming traps, and the cleric and mystic,
because they have lots of magic.

2. There are no speed trials so you can take things nice and easy,
so you can work out your optimum combination of actions in
advance. This also means that the slow speed of the dwarf is not a
problem as you can always wait for him and his valuable axe and
tool bag.

3. Check for traps constantly. You can use the tools as often as
you like.

4. Conserve your spell power for the toughest monsters. The dwarf
and barbarian can carve up just about everything else in the game.
