until a spider-like robot appears, put gun in robot, then you will
have to go to another room to retrieve the gun ...

the dungeon above the Blue Powerstone Room. Pour contents of acid
on floor, tie rope to manacles ...

You need to cool down the door frame before removing the teleport.
How can you cool down the walkway?  Go to where the infernal
machine is and put the teleport in the window. See what happens.
