Internet Section This issue's taken from a FAX from Kjell Robertsen Internet sites ... well, here are a few: My favourite one is http://futfan.com/ This has nothing to do with games, it's the homepage of Future Fantasy Bookstore. It contains their online catalog, newsletters, special offers and links to other book sites on the Net. If you are interested in Science Fiction and Fantasy books, this is the place to be. Delivery is fast (from the USA), and service is very good. Future only sell Fantasy and SF and if it is available in English, they have it. There are plenty of other shops on the Net but if you decide to buy something, don't ever send your credit card number by on-line order forms or Email. Some shops will brag about their fantastic encryption system and how safe it is. What they don't tell you is that it isn't safe at all and that it is a very good way to lose money. Send credit card numbers by fax or snail mail. A few other sites: http:www.tiac.net/users/baf/if-guide.html/ This is a site dedicated to text based adventures. There are links to FTP libraries and other game sites on the Net. http://yallara.cs.imit.edu.auc/s9406702/if/ This one contains links to games based news groups, solutions, FTP libraries and almost every other games related site on the Net. Unfortunately its address changes sometimes and you'll have to search for it in which YAHOO is a good engine to use. (Netscape has its own). To access these home pages you will need a good browser. IBM's is a good one, but if you use Windows be sure to get Netscape or Mosaic. Netscape is best because you can use it to read Newsgroups and download software. - o -
