OS2 Warp - Better than Win95?

OS2 has lost the 32 bit format war, but may be of short term
benefit to the empty pocketed who want to run Win 3.1 apps on a
prettier desktop.

Benefits include

- Launchpad Buttons provide an attractive and efficient way to
  organise program groups.

- A quality set of Mini applications - Word Processor, Database,
  Spreadsheet & time management.

- Needs less memory than Win 95. (Should run on 4 Meg, but
  probably wants 8.

- Excellent Multitasking & a wide variety of customizing options

Disadvantages include

- An awful file Manager (I use Windows)

- A clock that does not float - so it disappears under maximised
  pages

- Complex parameters to run games

Why bother?  In recent issues of Micro Mart the CD version has
been offered for as little as œ12 (ex Vat).  Why not try it while
waiting for Windows 97?
