Little Big Adventure, The solution - Part 1 From Alex van Kaam 1 - In this solution you will only be prompted to search something if it is needed to get a certain item, however do search every barrel, locker, dustbin and flower pot since these often contain money or a heart, also remember that if you re-enter a scene the above mentioned items will often be re-filled with a heart or some money. 2 - The game will automatically save when you enter a new area, a wise thing to do is the following, have 1 game called ON ROUTE, now say you have helped Twinson to escape from jail, now go to the Save Game Management and copy ON ROUTE and call it TWINSON ESCAPED FROM JAIL, now if for some reason you get killed after escaping from the jail quit the running game, go to the Save Game Management and delete ON ROUTE, now copy TWINSON ESCAPED FROM JAIL and call it ON ROUTE, and now select Continue Save Game and select ON ROUTE. This sound maybe a bit complex but this way you can keep restoring without any loss of lives, if however you didn't save for a long time it is sometimes better to just lose one life. 3 - I sometimes mention north, south, east, and west, since the game is in an angle north isn't always real north. Citadel island, in prison, Become aggressive, wait for the guard to come and kill him, step onto his platform and you will be transported to an area with a doctor and a guard, kill the guard, talk to the doctor, kill him and get his key. Leave through the gate in the west wall and keep walking west until you see a guard, wait until he has passed your corridor and run west into the room making sure you stand between the guard and the alarm button. When the guard spots you he will run to the alarm button, make sure you kill him before he reaches it. There are two doors in the north/east wall here, first enter the right one and search the first locker, here you will find your holomap and your ID card, now walk behind the dressing screen and you will be wearing the nurse outfit. Leave the room and enter the left one, kill the guard and leave again. Now leave this area west and you will come to some stairs leading north and a door leading south, what ver you do don't enter the south door, there is a white Grobo clone waiting there with a sleeping gun. Climb the stairs, and go east until you come into a room with a guard and a doctor, stay clear of the doctor and walk straight to the guard, now be sure you kill him before he has time to push to alarm button, after this take care of the doctor and get his key, you can now leave the jail through the east door. Citadel island, area 1, Search the barrels and get the lucky clover, now switch to discreet, walk up the stairs and head east behind the guard house to the garbage dump, talk to the Rabibunnie, walk onto the garbage, switch to discreet and press space, you will now climb into the garbage truck and you will be transported past the guards and dumped on the local garbage dump. Leave the dump and talk to the Grobo, read the posters, notice the new surveillance device and enter the house. Talk to the Rabibunnie and help him with his chest, leave the house and go south down the road to leave this area. Citadel island, area 2, Go and stand on the grating just east of you and press space. Citadel island, sewers, Talk to the Rabibunnie, and get the lucky clover box, jump onto the area in the middle and get all the other stuff. Now go back to the grating, stand on it and press space. Citadel island, area 2, Head west until you reach the west wall, now run south past the guard and down the stairs to the transporter, watch out for the clone and head south out of this area. Citadel island, area 3, In this area the new surveillance device is working, so keep out of its way, and if it is near you stand still. Now run east and you will soon come to a door were a Rabibunnie walks out, wait and he will dig up some gold, get the gold and run south until you leave this area. Citadel island, area 4, outside Twinson's house Don't move until the clone has passed, now head south and talk to your neighbour, now continue south until you can go west, continue west until you are greeted by your girlfriend, she will escort you into your house. Citadel island, inside Twinson's house, After the chat with your girlfriend switch to athletic and run into the kitchen, stand in the corner with the plant near the wooden door, by now the clones must have knocked on your door, switch to discreet and wait until the clones enter, one of them will arrest your girlfriend and the other will search for you, if you are standing correctly he will not find you and he will leave. Now search the plant and get the key, use it to open the wooden door, go in and search the north wall, one of the barrels will slide away and you will enter a secret passage. Citadel island, inside the secret cave under Twinson's house, This is a secret area under your house, all you can do now is search the room and leave again. Citadel island, inside Twinson's house, Search the complete house and you will find some gold, some hearts and your magic ball and tunic, with these two you have reached the first level of magic. After searching the house leave through the chimney. Citadel island, outside Twinson's house, area 4, Climb down the hill and go north into area 3. Citadel island, area 3, Look out for the surveillance device and talk to the running Rabibunnie, he will tell you that you should ask in the tavern for some information about your girlfriend. So head to the tavern in this area and enter it. Citadel island, local tavern, Go upstairs and talk to the Grobo, he will sell you some information if you buy him a drink, so go to the waiter (the red Rabibunnie) and ask him for a drink, now follow him to the Grobo and after the Grobo has got his drink ask him again about your girlfriend. He will now tell you that he saw them at the harbour entering a boat. Leave the tavern and go north to area 2. Citadel island, area 2, Look out for the clones and enter the local shop. Citadel island, local shop, Once inside run to the west wall, the shopkeeper will recognize you and he will push the alarm button, now kill the entering clone with your magic ball, after the clone is dead look at the shelves and get the red bottle of syrup, you can do what you want with the shop keeper, and don't forget his register. Now leave the shop and go to area 3. Citadel island, area 3, Go to the harbour, by killing the soldier who stands near the road exiting west, also keep a look out for the surveillance device. Citadel island, the harbour, Don't go to the counter for a ticket, the Rabibunnie behind the counter will recognize you so instead kill the Grobo clone who stands near the gate and get his key, go through the gate and head north to the Grobo who sits in front of his warehouse. He will tell you that he has a ferry ticket for the person who will put the four crates in his warehouse on the four crosses. Enter the warehouse. Citadel island, warehouse, The puzzle is very simple, just move the crates to the four crosses in the north/east corner. Note: the crate you see first will be placed as the last one, if you for some reason get stuck you can reset the puzzle by re-entering the warehouse. After solving the puzzle leave the warehouse. Citadel island, the harbour, Go to the Grobo and he will give you a ticket, now talk to him and he will tell you about your girlfriend, after this chat go west to the captain, after his first speech ask him about your girlfriend and he will tell you that he saw them leave in a boat but he doesn't know the destination, now enter the boat. Principal island, the harbour, This a a well guarded area, the best thing to do is to kill each soldier one by one, making sure you have some good cover. What ever you do make sure that in the end you exit north through one of the two guarded portals. Principal island, fortress/jail, In the north/east corner of the jail you will see a window with a Rabibunnie behind it, kill all surrounding guards and go talk through the window with the Rabibunnie, he will give you the location of his brother who has a fake red key card and who lives on Proxima Island, he will also give you a password. Now leave this area by the road leading west. Principal island, the old burg, Enter the first door you see just north of where you entered this area, the female Rabibunnie will tell you that you have to prove to them that you are not with Dr. Funfrock, so leave and head north until you come to some stairs leading up and north, soon you will see a Rabibunnie clone coming down, kill him and head back to the female Rabibunnie, she will now tell you a long story about here friend Beatrix who lives on Pegleg Street, after the story have a look at her TV and then leave her and talk to the Rabibunnie who stands just south of the house, he will tell you that he can help you meet the locksmith. So follow him and after a while he will whistle and another Rabibunnie will appear, follow the second one inside his house and once there use the sink, a opening will appear in the north wall, go through it. Principal island, the locksmith, The locksmith will trust you now and he will follow you if you lead him to a door or gate for which you need a key, so leave his shop. Principal island, the old burg, Go north to the white gate, the locksmith will give you the key and then he will leave, open the gate and head north/west to the female Rabibunnie, she will get rid of one of the white Grobo clones, follow her at a distance and then head to the stairs where the female Rabibunnie lured the white Grobo clone away from, climb them and go east, kill the guard and climb the stairs, stand on the grating and use space. Principal island, astronomer's house, Talk to Bob Vortex, he will tell you to find out everything you can about the prophecy and he has a friend who is a sailor in Port Belooga and who will take you where you want to go, then leave though the half circle window. Principal island, the old burg, Walk discreet to the west and jump down the ridge, you are now back with the female Rabibunnie, also notice the flowerpot near the pub, I found 2 lucky clovers in it. First thing to do is to enter the shop that is just to the south. Principal island, the old burg bazaar, Buy the Meca penguin and some fuel. Now leave the shop and leave this area by the road leading north/east. Principal island, military camp, Switch to run and run down the road heading east. Principal island, outside library, Keep running east, past the guards and then north into the library. Principal island, the library, If you talk to the librarian about the legend he will ask for your ID, don't respond just walk away, in the library you will find a Grobo who will tell you the location of Clear Water Lake in the Hamalayi mountains, he will also mention that there are rebels who fight against Dr. Funfrock. Then talk to the Sphero and he will tell you the answer to some puzzle, 'pull the middle one and the right one once'. After this talk to the dark colored Bunirabbit and he will tell you that the statues of Dr. Funfrock that do not have a pedestal are covering an ancient seal. Now finally talk to the red Bunirabbit, he is complaining about the water and that he will show you the secret book about the legend if you do something about the taste of it. Leave the library and go to the old burg, from there go south. Leave here and head west, you will soon find a ruin, inside is a lucky clover, if you need it get it, continue west and you will see a motorbike, the soldier driving it will get out and he will do his emergency against one of the trees, while he is at it, sneak up on him and kill him, now use the bike to go to the water tower. White leaf desert, the desert, Talk to the old man, he will help you if you get a book from an old temple that is buried under the sand, the only way to enter is through the ventilation shaft behind the man, so jump in it. White leaf desert, the temple, section 1 Always check all the stuff in here, there is a lot to be found. Walk to the edge, ignore the skeleton, and jump onto the pillar, now jump from pillar to pillar, using all 4 until you reach the other side, now jump over the spike and you will come to a pedestal with a fireball jumping around it, standing on the pedestal will open the south door, getting off will however close it again, so you need something heavy. Walk down the stairs, past the sleeping skeletons, and up the stairs on the other side, look out on which floor tiles you step, some trigger a fireball cannon, now go down the other stairs and head south until you reach some more stairs, go up and jump down at the end, now head north and immediately east, pull the lever you see here and you will see the platform move, make sure it is on the floor just north of you, (above the lever). Now go up the stairs to the north, past the pit that throws spike balls, past the lever and to the stairs, now you will see a large spike thing rolling down the stairs, quickly run back and step aside. Now go back up the stairs, pull the two lever you encounter and go back to the pit that throws the spiked balls, go through the door and you will come in an area will two large iron shredders and two fireball cannons, run between all of these and make your way up the stairs in the north/west. Here you will find a pedestal with a head on it, you can move the head by walking against it, if for some reason you push it into a corner you can get it out by walking along the side of it. Now push the head east, then south so it falls down the edge, now push it to the platform you lowered earlier, push it onto the platform and go to lever, pull it and the head will be transported halfway down the wall to the north, now go stand on the ledge above the lever and jump east, you can now push the second lever, this will bring the head down to the ground near you. Push the head to the platform above the now awake skeletons, to get the head to the other side you will have to pull the lever between the skeletons. So kill them and pull the lever, the head will now be transported to the south and near the first pedestal with the fireball, push the head on it, this will trigger some fireballs at you so make sure you have enough health. The door to the south is open, go through it. White leaf desert, the temple, section 2, SAVE, whatever you do SAVE your current game. Now you have to run to the east, with a spiked roll behind you, so here it goes, remember there is no margin for error. Run east, past the long pit, now run to the middle of the corridor and jump over the second pit, by know the spiked roll will be very close, so keep running until you cross a metal plate and see a lever, stop in front of the lever, press F1 to switch to normal mode and pull the lever, if you did it right the spiked roll will fall through the now open metal plate, if not you can either let yourself be killed or jump down the third area of pits into a very horrible area, where you can work your way back. The best thing to do if you didn't make it is to delete your current game and copy the save one so you can retry with losing a life. If you made it you must now continue east along the fence, very carefully until you come to a pit, now jump over it, and jump again to the east, make sure you don't jump into a pit, this second jump is to avoid a fireball that would have appeared if you walked east, now leave through the north door. White leaf desert, the temple, section 3, Work your way east, past the pit, the shredder and the fireball cannon up the stairs, now to the east is a door, if it is open just enter, if not go west to the skeleton, kill him and pull the lever, now go to the door. Remember that whatever you do, don't go over the iron platform in front of the door if the door is closed, you will then re-appear in area 2. Now in this new part there are some walls, 2 platforms and 2 levers, the trick is to stand on the first wall, the one with the stairs, and use your magic ball on the lever that is on the wooden pole, now get onto the platform and use your ball again on the lever, once you are transported to the west you can jump onto the northern wall, then use the same trick with the lever and platform that are here. After reaching the north/east wall head south and jump onto the south/east wall. Once past these walls go north up the stairs, watch out for the boulder and pull the lever, this will open a door to the south. Head back down the stairs and go down the ladder, step aside and a boulder will roll past you, now to the north is a small alcove, inside is some magic potion and a skeleton so be warned. Also notice the pedestal which triggers the door to the south/west. To the east you will see three platforms and three levers, be sure you approach the lever from the south, don't walk between the levers and the platforms or you will trigger some of the platforms to rise or sink and you will have a hard time to solve this puzzle. Now remember the solution that the Sphero told you in the library, pull the middle one and then the right one. If you do this you will be able to use the three platforms as a stair to climb up, once up you can push the head you find here, through the door you opened earlier, down to the pedestal, place it on it and the door will open. Go through the door and head west, now you can either kill the two skeletons and get the magic book or just run for the book and the skeletons will worship you once you have it, the choice is yours. Once you have the magic book of BU you have reached your second level of magic, now you can read the runes and talk to the animals, just like a real Dr. Doolitle. Read the runes and head south through the end of the corridor. White leaf desert, the desert, Talk to the old Rabibunnie, and he will see in you the new Heir, he will also tell you that Dr. Funfrock is doing something to the Well of Sendell.
