CAT News Adapted from a letter from the author, Philip Richmond My Amiga "Creative Adventure Toolkit" adventure utility is no longer available from CLR LICENSEWARE SCHEME. CLR have closed down on 30th April and have ceased trading. Many of the distributors were failing to declare sales and thus programmers weren't receiving the proper royalties due. I have decided that, from now on, I will be the only official supplier of CAT. That way I can offer user support to registered owners and notify them of future upgrades. The program is for Amiga 500+/600/1200 owners and requires 1 meg. * Only œ4.00 - cheques/POs to: P Richmond 66 Staining Road, Blackpool, Lancashire FY3 0AD * If any Amiga owning SynTax readers would like a free copy of CAT (full program but save disabled) to try before buying, I would happily supply them with the trial program in exchange for a blank, formatted Amiga disk and SSAE. @~See also Philip's ad in the appropriate section for more details @~on CAT. Philip also tells me that some more CAT games are on @~the way. First is Back to the Future 4, a CATventure by Ray @~Richardson which is a 3-part game with digitised graphics. @~Philip has asked Ray to send a copy in to the library when it is @~ready. Second is Harold Dixon's next CAT game, Exploring ITMUS, @~a sort of SF alien planet quest which is nearing completion. @~CAT is now up to v4.7 with the addition of a fonts directory, @~correction of a couple of bugs, some new menu options and a @~password protection routine. - o -
