KINGDOM, THE FAR REACHES SOLUTION BY PHIL DARKE At the start of the game you can choose either Apprentice or Wizard Level. The solutions are quite different for each level so I will go through both. 1. APPRENTICE LEVEL You start the game in Daelon's Mansion, he gives you a spell of seeing and asks you to choose which spell to prepare next. Choose the spell of release. Travel to the centre of Glendoe and from there to the outskirts of Glendoe. Cast the spell of seeing on the blind beggar. Now go to the barren rocks and from there back to the outskirts of Glendoe. Talk to the beggar and go back to Daelon's mansion. Get the spell of release and go back to the outskirts of Glendoe and from there to the barren rocks. Take the left path and cast the spell of release. Take the crystal and go to The Huntsman's Crossroads and talk to Norton The Huntsman. Now go to the centre of Glendoe and from there to the Treefolk Forest, take the staff and go to the Fairy Circle. Cast a spell of seeing and give them the staff. Now go to the Crystal Castle and use the Crystal on the tigers. Enter the castle and take the Black Mace. Go back to the Treefolk Forest and from there to the Centre Of Glendoe and from there to the Outskirts Of Glendoe then to the barren rocks and from there to the Marsh Wastes. Cast a spell of seeing and follow the road to Illes. Go to the Shimmering Oasis and from there to the Temple Of Cindra and then to the West Sea Coast. Use the Black Mace on the Manta Ray and then go to the East Sea Coast and then to the Black Keep. Use the Crystal to defeat the Plague Magician. Enter the Black Keep and take the Sword and go to Drakesblood's Palace. Enter the Palace and follow the doors with crown above them. Use the Sword to kill Drakesblood. THE END 2. WIZARD LEVEL Basically the same as the Apprentice level but with many more puzzles to solve. Go to Delon's mansion and get the spells of seeing. Ask Delon to prepare the spell of release next. Now go back to the outskirts of Glendoe and heal the blind beggar. Now return to the centre of Glendoe and from there to the Treefolk Forest. Get the wood elves staff and go to the Fairy Circle. Use a spell of seeing and then give the fairies the staff. Now return to Delon's mansion and get the spells of release. Ask Delon to prepare the spells of understanding next. Go to the Treefolk Forest and from there to the forester's camp. Listen to the old woman, then go to the outskirts of Glendoe and from there to Delon's mansion and then to the marsh wastes. Pick up the cold fire and then go to the barren rocks, use the cold fire to defeat the mist monsters. Take the left path and cast a spell of release to get the crystal. Now go to Delon's mansion and get the spells of understanding. Return to the marsh wastes and cast a spell of seeing. Follow the sign for Illes and go to the Dunespeople campsite, you will receive the onyx seal. Now go back to the Crystal Castle. If you encounter the Plague Magician on the way use the crystal to defeat him. Use the crystal to defeat the tigers. Enter the castle and use the onyx seal to enter the locked door. Take the black mace and go to the forester's camp and then to the Huntsman's Crossroads to receive more clues, from the old woman and from Norton. Now go back to Delon's mansion and collect the travel spells. Go from there to the marsh wastes and then to the open desert. On the way you may get robbed by bandits. If so make a note of where you are and go to the Dunespeople Campsite where you will be told how to get your belongings back. Return to where you were robbed and use the rock on the bandits. Now go to the temple of Cindra, on the way you will be attacked by sand devils, use the spell of release. At the temple enter the door on the left and use the mace to defeat Torlock. When you leave you will be given the talisman sceptre. Now go to the desert oasis. Show them the mace and you will be given the enchanted bow. Now go to the West Sea Coast. Use the black mace on the manta ray. Go to the Black keep, use the crystal to defeat the Plague Magician and the serpent monsters. Enter the keep and take the sword. Go to the valley of the Argent Kings and from there to the temple ruins and then to the hedge maze. Use the enchanted bow and then follow the golden path. Take the orb and go to the valley of the Argent Kings. Use the orb to get the pentacle coins. Next go to Drakesblood's palace. In the harp room enter the top door and talk to the Princess. Leave via the middle door and use the Orb on the tapestry. Go through the door to the left of the tapestry, to the harp room. Exit via the right door, with a crown above it. Here all your possessions will be stolen by the wizards. Go back to the tapestry room and go through the same door again. When you see the wizards sleeping pull the rope on the left of the screen (NB THE ROPE NOT THE CHAIN). Now go back to the harp room and enter the door with the crown above into the banqueting hall. Exit via the door on the left. Here you will encounter Drakesblood. Bribe him with the Pentacle coins and he will show you another exit. Use the sword to harvest the silver wheat. Now go to the valley of the Argent Kings and get some more coins. Go to Drakesblood's palace again and in the harp room enter the door under the stairs. There are two teleports here, take the left hand one which will take you back to Delon's mansion. Now return to the desert oasis and show the mace again and you will receive another enchanted bow. Now go to the Dunespeople campsite again and show the mace. Next go to the lost mines and talk to Maluki, go to his hut and he will restore you to full health. From here go to the hills. If you get caught in the sand storm, return to Maluki and try again give the silver wheat to the keeper of the bridge. Cross the bridge. SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. For the next part of the game you have a time limit and it is very tight. When moving around in this part of the game don't wait for characters to finish talking or for your cursor to return but click the left mouse button as soon as the new screen appears. Go to the Sky Palace and leave via the teleport to the haunted waterfalls. Here you will be given the power of tide control. Use the travel spell to return to Drakesblood's palace. Go to the throne room and give him the coins. Use the sword to get more silver wheat. Now go to the Valley of the Argent Kings and from there to the Sea Dwellers Pavilion. Use the tide control and take the chalice. Now go to the West Sea Coast and use the enchanted bow on the manta ray. Next go to the temple of Cindra and from there to the Dunespeople campsite and from there to Maluki's home and then back to the hills. Give the wheat to the bridge keeper and enter the Sky Palace. Skylar will give you the hunting horn in exchange for the chalice. He will also give you a choice of places to which you can teleport. Go to the Valley of the Argent Kings and from there to the Black Keep. Use the hunting horn and enter the left door. Use the spell of understanding to obtain the Runes Of Iscar. Exit via the door on the right and go to Drakesblood's Palace. Enter the throne room and use the Runes and then use the sword to kill Drakesblood. THE END - o -
