@~This issue's 'Something Different' is ... CHANEQUES --------- By Amoeba Software Zenobi Amiga PD (2 disks) Reviewed by: Philip Richmond on A1200 Made in Mexico using AMOS, "Chaneques" is a brilliant arcade platformer with many levels to play and solve. It's a bit like 'Lemmings'. You use the joystick to control three Mexican guys, the aim being to steal all things on the screen (TVs, chocolates, diskettes and books) by pushing them through an 'interdimensional door'. (An animated flashing square!) Chanok can walk, push and dig. Chencho can walk, push and climb. Chepo can walk, climb and make bridges over gaps. The idea is to utilize their individual skills to complete each level before the time limit expires and the rooster crows. The early levels are fairly easy, but it does get progressively harder. (I managed 15 levels). There are passwords for each level. There is a music on/off and pause facility. Full instructions are provided on disk. This is a good addictive puzzler which should provide many hours of fun. A very nice PD game, one of the best I've seen lately, and I have no hesitation in recommending it highly as a worthwhile purchase.
