Cannon Fodder - Missions 1 - 5 Tips

Mission 1
---------
This is a cinch, if you can't do this without any help then don't
bother trying to play the rest of the game.  Simply kill the three
enemy soldiers before they shoot you !!!

Mission 2
---------
PHASE 1 - Move along the South bank and past the bridge.  Kill
everyone and go back to the bridge, cross it and go left.  Go East
past the bridge and kill any enemy in sight.

PHASE 2 - Shoot the enemy along the bank.  Avoid shooting
grenades.  Go North of the building.  Take out the men and go
round the back of the building.  Pick up the grenades.  Retreat
and destroy the building.

Mission 3

PHASE 1 - Go East along the ridge, then South to get the grenades
by the building in the South-East corner of the battle area.  Then
simply go to each corner in turn, and destroy the buildings.

Mission 4
---------
PHASE 1 - Head straight for the South-West corner to collect the
required grenades and then head North to get to the 2nd building.
Next, go to the pier and, after killing the enemy soldiers that
are hanging around, cross the river.  Then go to the South-West
and the North-East in turn, making a mess of everybody that gets
in your path.

PHASE 2 - This starts off fast and furious but simply start
shooting straight away to kill all mobile soldiers on land and
only then turn your attention to the enemy in the water.  Go down

the Northern pier, kill any surviving enemy and destroy the
building.

PHASE 3 - Leave two men on guard by the fox hole of which the
soldiers appear.  Take the remaining men to the East.  Go North
along the river to collect the grenades.  Destroy the enemy
building in the South-East and return to the rest of the squad.
Destroy the huts in the South-West.  You may now need to go
looking for surviving soldiers, often found skulking in the most
Southerly clearing.

PHASE 4 - At this point, if you have any higher ranking members of
your squad, you maybe able to throw a grenade over the trees to
destroy the building straight-away.  Move around the forest,
avoiding or shooting the tripwire to the right of the second area
of quicksand.  Collect the grenades and then blast up any enemy
soldiers that are around.



Mission 5
---------
PHASE 1 - Start by travelling along the North shore to get the
Rockets and Grenades, then destroy the building you see on the
other side of the river. Wade across the river and then use the
cover of the trees to kill the first rocket launcher with a
grenade.  Next move round the trees and keep moving as there are
three more enemy rocket launchers lying in wait.

PHASE 2 - On this level you will come across a very large amount
of rocket launchers, so beware.  The best way to deal with them is
to approach, with one or two men only, either in a wide zig zag or
diagonally across their field of fire.  Above all, shoot them as
soon as they're in range and keep moving.  If you stay still for
even a moment you'll be a gonna.  Deal with the first man as quick
as you can and cross the river at its most Northerly point and
move to the South-East of the next launcher.  He'll shoot the rock
between you, killing himself in the progress.  Next select your
own rockets and dash left.  Launch one at the third man and dash

back.  The next launcher is by the building to the South.
Accordingly, don't cross the river there, but further back.

PHASE 3 - This is the first time during the game which you can use
a vehicle, but often you are better off without it.  Send a single
man out to get the enemy rocket launcher to the West of the Skidu
and send North to take out the enemy soldiers on the East side of
the bank.  Now send him over the river at the Northern most point
sighting the rocket launcher you see with your own rockets as you
cross.  Move down the bank taking out any other launchers and if
necessary send the rest of the squad over to help clear up any
enemy soldiers left.
