@~As always full reviews of any games covered in this section @~would be appreciated! A Quick Look At ... By Sue Broken Sword - Revolution Software Also known as Circle of Blood in the States (why do Americans have to rename games?) this graphic adventure is the latest from Revolution Software who also brought us Lure of the Temptress and Beneath a Steel Sky. You take the part of American George Stobbard who is on holiday in Paris when a bomb goes off inside a nearby cafe. George decides to take action himself and search for the character, dressed as a clown, who planted it. This adventure will take him through various places including Ireland, Spain and Scotland. The interface is very easy to use, the cursor changing shape when it's in an appropriate place for use (a beckoning finger, moving gears etc). A lot of use is made of conversation with characters using the Talk icon which looks like a mouth. Parallax scrolling adds a feeling of 'being there' and the graphics certainly look excellent, the characters being well animated. - o -
