Holy word works the best, but turn undead is much more economical assuming you live to cast it three times. First see the mayor. Then proceed to destroy all the ghosts. Ring the gong at (X13 Y1). Then see the mayor again. More ghosts move in so you'll have to repeat the above steps two more times. Beware of the gaurdian snakes as they can be tough to hit, so use magic on them. First off you'll have to touch two of the blue spheres near the entrance. Touch the sw corner one and the ne corner one so that they are red. Then go up to the nw corner of the city and experiment until you make it to the room on the right. (hint: try a straight line heading north, then go straight towards the door.) Destroy the machine and grab the crystals at the south end of the room. Once again turn undead is a life saver, although if you're fast enough, you just nail 'em. In order to kill the main vampire up in the nw corner of the city, you must set the three dials to 9.
