A NIGHT IN THE MUSEUM FOREVER - by Chris Angelini A text adventure on SynTax disk 969(PC) and 1123(ST) .....The Missing 20 Points by Bev Truter NOTE: Turning the dial to get into the 3 different time zones proved a bit problematical for me, so in this solution I'll simply refer to Past, Present and Future, and you can do all the fiddling with the time platform to get there. PRESENT (Foyer): Go south to the Corridor and X the crack - you see a setting, but can't reach it. (Setting = ring minus jewel). PAST: X the plinth in the Exhibition Hall and X the hose you're carrying. Go N to the lake. Get sand, put hose in lake, go north and X the machine in the glassblowers' shop. Put the sand in the chute, X hopper, get cover. Go E, look under chair to get the sticky gum, and get stick - put gum on stick. FUTURE: Return to the lake (now drained because of the hose you left there in the past), get shovel, go N,E and get coal. PRESENT: Put stick in crack to get the setting - 10 points. PAST: Return to the Future Expansion and dig in dirt with shovel - you make a hole. Put coal in hole. (You automatically cover it with dirt, where it sits buried for a couple of thousand years...) FUTURE: Back to the Future Expansion site, dig in dirt with shovel, get diamond and put it in the setting - you now have a diamond ring (Hooray!) - 10 points. PAST: Put the ring on the plinth in the Exhibition Hall - 10 points. Put cover on plinth - 10 points. PRESENT: Return to the plinth, X the sonic disruptor you're carrying, and disrupt glass. (No, `break glass' won't work). Get the ring and exit the Museum east from the Foyer - 10 points. You win the game with 50/50 points. - o -
