You can save thousands of dollars a month on heating bills in
Theme Hospital by setting the thermostat down just before the
first of the month, when the heating bill comes in, and setting
it back up after you've been charged for the lower figure. Just go
to the Town Map on the 30th or 31st, set the radiator down, and
watch the accounts page until you get the heating bill. Then go
back and set the radiator back up for the rest of the month. This
is apparently legal, and the only effect it has on the game is to
save you money! You just have to remember to do it manually each
month.
