Competition I had a good collection of entries for last issue's competition; just to refresh your memory, the prize was a can't-make-up-its- mind-what-language-it's-written-in copy of Virgin's Vengeance of Excalibur, provided by Julian Gregory. I listed 5 game title definitions and you had to identify the games concerned - NOT hard! - especially as all the games were mentioned in that issue. The definitions and their answers were: 1. Illegally breaks into a secure container Safecracker 2. Swear at a piece of land surrounded by water and belonging to a distant relative of man Curse of Monkey Island 3. Completely reduced to nothing Total Annihilation 4. Mislaid in the fourth dimension Lost in Time 5. Second organ of vision of the onlooker Eye of the Beholder 2 Correct entries were received from Alex, Arnie, Tom, Jean, Alison, Jenny, Peter, Andrew, Nick, Neil and Charlotte ... two other readers were almost right (they missed out the 2 in the Eye of the Beholder answer and I decided to be v-e-r-y strict!). After the closing date, I put all the names into a hat and drew out the winner who was - Jenny Perry. Well done, Jenny, and I hope you enjoy the game ... I also hope you can speak German! Sorry to those who didn't win and thanks to all of you for entering. - o -
