LYING DOWN by Kent Tessman release 2 27/06/98 using Hugo compiler 2.5 - This is a new release of Kent's entry in the 1997 Interactive Fiction Competition. 5. GUILTY BASTARDS - Another Kent Tessman [HUGO] Adventure. This time with bells on! ... Sorry, I mean Graphics and sound. This is a good one, well worth a play, if only for the music and pictures. 6. HOUSE TO HOUSE - An AGT adventure by Jason and Keith Billard. Monday morning and you force yourself to the bathroom. The shower is cold. As you struggle to dry yourself, you recall last night's dream with its weird places, ugly creations and strange happenings ... you vaguely recall struggling with a monster ... but your nightmare couldn't become real? .... COULD IT? 7. Adam Cadre's "CHICKEN COMPETITION" - A mini-adventure competition based on jokes about a chicken crossing the road. DETECTIVE - A port to Inform of Mystery Science Theatre 3000's AGT port of Stewart Moore's AGT adventure DETECTIVE. You either like these MYSTings or you hate them. 11. ROGUE [Inform] Release 2 - This is a port of the Classic game 'Rogue'. I remember it as 'dungeons'. You are the little ampersand and you must travel the hidden dungeons collecting Gold, Potions etc, etc while fighting Bats, Kestrels, etc, etc. Although it is a very basic screen layout, it is good fun but not for a strict interactive fiction buff. 12. WITCHFINDER - An AGT adventure by Kanga & Yak [Public Domain Version]. You play the part of Bertrand (Bertie for short). Returning home, you are overtaken by stormy weather. Seeking shelter you leave the road and follow a track which leads you to a driveway and a surprisingly imposing mansion. Sheltering in the front porch, "it's make your mind up" time - before the storm breaks. 13. THE DOROTHY MILLARD COLLECTION - This archive contains 18 text adventures written for the C64 using the Quill. Set up your emulator, unzip the adventures and away you go. You will never get a better offer!! 14. GENOCIDE EARTH by Darryl Stone for the Amiga - a Sci-fi text adventure with digitized graphics and music. Untested by myself as I have no Amiga available. 15. SECRET AGENT parts 1 to 3 - Shareware from Apogee Software. Three graphic adventures where you control your character (SAM) by the cursor keys, etc. Enter various buildings and play the arcade sections to build up your points. Certainly not Interactive Fiction but great fun. A LITTLE XTRA MAP of SUSPENDED in ASCII format. All the programs mentioned above are available from the SynTax Library.
