Take the axe from the wall by the door and the St.Christopher medal. Talk to Wayne and when he leaves use the St.Christopher on Hamsun. Use the tape recorder to record his ravings. Return to the bridge. When the monster appears play back the tape and it disappears. Talk to Driscoll, he tells you that you need to send an SOS and to drain the torpedo room. Go below to the engine room. Stanley is trapped by a fallen beam. Operate the switch and talk to Driscoll on the walkie talkie, tell him to operate the winch to lift the beam. When you have freed Stanley ask him about the radio. Tell him that the Captain is dead. He will then give you the frequency for the radio (107.4.61). Pick up the adjustable spanner and return to the bridge. Use the code book on the radio and send an SOS. Go back into the hold and use the crampons. Walk to the chest between the two cell doors and use the key to open it. Take the flare pistol and return to the bridge. Use the adjustable spanner on the wheel on the door which is lying on the floor. Go into the sleeping quarters and try to open the hatch on the floor. You can't open it because of the electrical lock. Return to the bridge and talk to Driscoll about the flooding chamber. He will tell you about the electrical control box. Use the axe to smash open the control box. You now have to use the switches to complete a circuit between the bottom and top of the box on each of the three different coloured wires. Now return to the sleeping quarters and open the hatch and enter the chamber. Use the wheel on the hole on the right of the screen. Turn the wheel and the chamber is drained. Take the distress flare and open the bottom right torpedo tube. Open the hatch in front of the tube. Now call Driscoll on the walkie talkie and enter the tube. You will now be rescued and taken to the Falkland Islands. THE FALKLANDS After talking to Captain Sears about Hamsun and the crate, a man will enter and tell him about a film. Ask Captain Sears about the film and Miss Molly. When he leaves the room examine the papers on his desk. Now go to the desk in the corner and open the left hand drawer. Take the torn paper and the cigarettes and ID file. Quincy enters the room and gives you your duty roster. Leave the room and give the duty roster to the guard. When he is called away take the film. Now go through the door on the right, through the next room and through the next door. Here you will meet McLaglen. Talk to him then give him the cigarettes and the film. McLaglen will screen the film for you. After watching the film examine the bookcase behind McLaglen, look at the book which is on its own. Note the number which is written in it. Talk to McLaglen and ask him about files. Now return to the corridor outside Sears' office. Enter the middle door and talk to Shaw. He gives you a radio message and will tell you about the files. Use the ID file on the kettle to steam off the photo. Now return to Sears' office and examine the painting behind Sears' desk. There is a safe here, combine the number you found in the desk drawer with that from the book for the combination for the safe. Open the safe and take the stamp and key. Examine the papers on the desk and use the stamp and photo on them to get a pass. Close the safe and go to the entrance hall. Press the button next to the lift and go down to the basement. Show your pass to the guard and enter the security door. Go into the closet behind you and take the tin from the shelves. Open the trunk and you make a gruesome discovery. Go out and into the sick bay next door. Talk to the nurse and ask for an appointment. When you see the doctor tell him that you are having stomach problems and when he asks what you have eaten show him the tin. When he leaves to get some medicine take the manual from the desk. Go to the armoury and knock on the door. Show the manual to Finlayson and he invites you inside. Pick up the fire extinguisher. Now take the cigarette and use it on the bin. Hide in the dark corner on the right and when Finlayson rushes from the room use the extinguisher to put out the fire. You can now enter the file room and examine the personnel files. There is only one file left, on someone called Parker. As you leave the armoury Sears appears and congratulates you on putting out the fire. He takes you to his office and wants to know what happened on board the Victoria. Tell him about the monster and the incantation. He then tells you to go back on board the Victoria and find evidence. THE VICTORIA You can't get into the bridge. Go right and pick up the cable. Use the cable on the bar to enable you to cross the ice. Open the floor chest and take the two pieces of metal. Return to the bridge and combine the two pieces of metal and use it to enter the bridge. Go to the sleeping quarters and examine the wardrobe in the corner. Take the papers and return to the bridge. A monster appears. Click on the button behind you and use the key that you got from Sears' safe on it. Now get out quick. The Victoria blows up. As you try to re-enter the base you will be stopped, but the doctor appears and takes you to his office. He shows you Hamsun's blood sample in the microscope and gives you a book he found. The nurse appears and screams. When you rush into the sick bay you find a monster attacking Quincy. Go to the doctor's office and take the needle from the desk. Go to Sears' Office and examine the map. There is a small dot in the middle. Use the needle on it and a secret compartment opens. Take the stone and file that you find. The files contain German documents. Now return to the sick bay and use the stone on the monster. Pick up the papers from the floor, these are the missing personnel files. You now know that Sears was a traitor. You receive a message from Washington telling you to go to Buenos Aires to follow the trail of John Parker. BUENOS AIRES Go into the museum and ask Hernandez about OTR2832 and the empty pedestal. Here you will also meet Diane Parker. You will be shown into the curator's office. After some chat a man appears at the door, demanding the disc. He shoots Hernandez. A double of Ryan appears and shoots the gunman. The curator tells you that the police will be on their way and shows you where to hide. The police appear and arrest the curator and seal the museum. When you come out of your hiding place Diane says she is going onto the terrace. Follow her through the glass doors into a room full of books. Pick up the stick and the pile of books on the left. Now click on the single book. (This is not easy to find, look at the third shelf from the floor to the right of the pile of books now click on the tiny black triangle in the bottom right corner of this shelf). A passageway opens up. Enter this and go up to the next level. Use the stick to replace the broken rung on the ladder and go up to the next level. Search the book shelves to find some empty spaces and place the three books you found on the ground floor in the empty spaces in the correct order to open a stairway to the third level. Walk off the screen to the right and you find stairs leading to the top. Click on the small statue on the right and a compartment opens in the middle statue. Here you find a key to open the doors. Go out onto the terrace and climb onto the left statue and jump onto the middle statue. From here you can take the disk from the right statue. The Nazis now appear and you are captured. SCHLOSSADLER BASE Pick up the stool and the items from the table, use the spoon on the cell wall to talk to Parker. After a while the other three prisoners are taken away and Deitrich enters the cell and tells you to write a message for Washington. When he leaves the cell put the sheet of paper into the wash basin. When the guard enters the cell attack him with the stool. Search the guard and take the keys. Lock the cell door and push the table in front of it. Put the stool on the table and use the pen on the ventilation grill. Crawl through the ventilation duct until you get to a cave. Click on the stalagmite and take the jewels which appear in the doorway. Walk across the bridge to the right and place the jewels in the eye sockets on the altar. Enter the opening which appears. You emerge into another cave. Walk to the right and examine the mine cart, pick up the miner's bar and walk to the left. Use the miner's bar on the third stone from the left. Use the miner's bar on the pool of lava and then use it on the mine cart wheel. Push the cart. You must now act extremely quickly to avoid being killed by the monster. The mine cart activates a switch which opens the door. Walk towards the door and exit as soon as it opens. In the next room use the bar on the propeller. Then crawl through the duct. After watching the next scene, click on the grill to exit then click the page from the book on Ryan to read the incantation and kill the monster. You are now transported into the future. Get the barrel, butt, middle section, nitrogen charges and the battery which are lying around in this room. Click on the computer terminal on the right to watch Parker's story. Look at the plate on the floor. Now click on the scanner in the middle. Use the battery on the slit under the screen and press the button. A wire frame picture appears. Use the barrel, butt and middle section on this and you get an FND, a powerful weapon. Test it on the stone on the left. Open the cupboard and take the stone and disk. Use the disk on Ryan and you are transported back to Sclossadler base, where you find Parker, Hamsun and Diane being threatened by a monster. Use the page of the book on Ryan to destroy the monster. Talk to Parker and tell them about the time gate. They will enter. After they have left enter the time gate and you are transported back to Buenos Aires for a repeat performance of the scene in the curator's office. Use the FND on Harland and you will be transported to Illsmouth. Pull the ring on the wall and a stone block appears from the floor. Match the symbols on the block as follows, PRISONER with ICE, DAGON with WATER, CTHULHU with WATER and AIR with NYRLATOPOP. A book will appear. Use the stone on the book and then use the sword on Narackamous and Boleskine who appear. Go through the gate and enter the rowing boat. You will then encounter Sears in another boat. He has a sword and to defeat him you must question him about Howard Parker, John T Parker and The Great Old Ones, in that order. Now cut the rope and he will be killed by the falling chandelier. You will now enter a room with three masks on the wall. Use the sword on the right hand mask, this releases sand, extinguishing the flames. Click on the flagstone and walk to the right and exit through the passage. You now find yourself in the stone circle, where Narackoumous and Deitrich are about to perform the ceremony. Use the sword on yourself and when Deitrich finishes speaking use it again. Now use the book on the centre stone. Deitrich and Narackoumous are defeated. You now have a choice of two endings.
