FINAL LIBERATION (DEMO) Review by Michael Raven Based on the Epic Warhammer 40,000 wargame from Games Workshop, this demo allows you access to the tutorial game of it, with a handful of space marines, and a few tanks. I don't know the official requirements, but it ran (slowly) on a 486 DX2/80 with 16mb ram, taking up around 20 megabytes of hard disc space. I'm pretty sure it needs 16 mb of ram, as when I tried it on a 8mb machine, it crashed. Quite simple, not real-time, like playing the real Epic game. Very enjoyable! PLAYABILITY 91% Excellent - I played it without looking at the instructions. LASTABILITY 30% Although this is low, it's only a demo. The full version is supposed to have around 40 scenarios in it. GRAPHICS 87% Good, although not ground-breaking. SOUND 85% Very good - I didn't hear any music on the demo, though. OVERALL 60% An excellent score for a playable demo. I estimate that the full version will be very good, and I'm planning to get it! - o -
