             Peg-Leg Pete Updated Yet Again!!!

John Wilson says: The SECOND update to the Peg-Leg Pete Project is
now ready and available. Sorry it has been so long since the last
version but 'circumstances' have meant that I have been otherwise
occupied ... those who know will understand and the rest of you
will just have to bear with me - sorry! So if you wish to have
your original CD-ROM updated just bung it in the post - along with
a cheque, postal order or cash to the value of œ2 - and we will do
the necessary. (Purchasers of version 3 of the Peg-Leg Pete
Project will find BOTH upgrades already included on the CD-ROM).

This time around there are some great new Emulators to try out, a
batch of Internet stuff to browse through and a pile of tips for
some great Golden Oldies. There are also a load of games (arcade
and adventure) for the C64, piles of TZX game files for the jolly
old Speccy and a collection of Lords of Midnight files that will
have you 'ooohing' with delight ...

The first update contained not only well over 100 adventure game
files, but also loads of text files relating to various games and
a pile of screen files that could be used as screensavers (once
converted) or simply viewed via an emulator. Also in the update
were the full 26 issues of '16/48' tape magazine, each issue
packed full of interesting articles, puzzles, games, helplines and
of course the obligatory adventure. We also added a mass of other
tape/disk magazines for your perusal - some come complete with
free games. If you don't already have this, then send œ2 and we
will send it off to you.
