Ring - Part 2 Walkthrough (revision 1) by eddy Edoardo Chidichimo 17/11/98 @~Continued from last issue Loge ---- Short story: Loge (the fire spirit) enslaved by Wotan, must enter the Nibelheim, steal the ring from Alberich and bring back the ring to pay the giants to construct Walhalla. After a long intro you'll find yourself in the mines again. In the starting room talk to the Dwarf and then go in the main mines tunnel and turn right going down the elevator tube (2).Down there you'll have a long talk with a hanging worker, after all use the fire on it. Head for the computer room (1). Press the virtual map button and on the virtual map pull up the block 3, so that all the mines will be flooded and everybody will die. Now reconnect one to the circular room below the mines, exit the panel and down the tunnel. Use fire on the moveable door, and in the room below take dragon, centaur and phoenix from the 3 cells and chrysobery from the cages. Return to the dwarf in room 1, and give him the chrysobery, and take the cage. it's time to fight Alberich, so exit the room and talk with him, when the magic ritual starts use 1) centaur - 2) dragon - 3) phoenix and he'll be beaten. On the planet look at the egg and use fire on it. Now it's time to rebuild the puzzle: It's not difficult you have only to be patient and try. After this puzzle you have to find the combination for the safe, so put in this code 366, enter the room and put on the altar the crown and the ring. After the 2 robots fight go up the stairs leading to a strange machine. You have to recompose :THE RAINBOW LEADS TO WALHALLA. (Turn the blue tabs (1 in the image in the screenshots section) and try the word moving the right small machine (2) on the spot you want to try.) A new puzzle will be prompted out. Now listen carefully to the background music and try to play the organ. All you have to do is divide the organ in two 7 rows LIKE THIS: Then rebuild the background music pressing the organ keys. For row 1 press the buttons from left to right in a sequence, for row 2 press the first 3 left buttons then the first 2 right buttons then the fourth and the fifth from right and then the third from right (hope it's right) The rainbow will appear and the second adventure will end. Sigmund ------- Short story: Sigmund (half man, half wolf), must find the traces of his past and save his sister. You will start your third adventure in a forest. So move straight on until you arrive at the base of a temple, go upstairs and on the top look at the single column image in the screenshots section. In position 1 you'll find the metal tape. In position 2 the name of the parchment, so starting exactly from quicksilver (image) take out all the 7 parchments doing a turn around and stopping at lead (number 7 image below). See the image of all 7 columns in the screenshots. You have to notice this image because the symbols and the metals will come in play again later. So now restart at the quicksilver point, first press the metal then reinsert the first parchment you have taken and do this till point 7 (press the metal then insert the parchment). Now you will go down in a dark place, use instinct of the wolf and look at the strange machine. At the bottom of this there's a strange turning level: turn it till the face is like in the image in the screenshots and then press it. In the new room go upstairs and take the bow and the hare from the wardrobe, then the metals and the mould from the right mobile, now look for the machine on the left, so open the water from the right part of it, then put the Loge's tear in the left side, then put the mould on it and the metals. Click out and look for the left part of the machine and open the small cassette, a strange human body will come out. Now you have to place the melted metal pieces in the right place like in the screenshot: Gold in 2, silver in 1, quicksilver in 5, lead in 6, copper in 4, steel in 7, tin in 3. You will get a small golem, go upstairs and go out on the wooden bridge, in the middle go down and take the fishing rod, return up and go at the end of the wooden bridge, click on the spot and use wolf instinct, now use the golem, on this spot and he will take you some sleeping berries a worm and a ingot. Return inside and downstairs and then go out of the structure, and at the first intersection turn left, use the bow on fire, the then take the small boat and go up, at this point take the berries, and then go straight on and enter the structure. Pull the lever, now the body will be placed on the other boat. Go outside and at the same intersection turn left, now use the bow on the boat with the body, who will burn. Return to the structure and upstairs, go back to where you found the fishing rod, now use the fishing rod with worm on the lake, you'll get a fish with a key. Back in the structure and downstairs to the machine level, there use the 2 kind of berries on the left press so you'll get a sleeping potion. Look for the small spot below the mobile in which you found the metals and the mould. Use the golem on it. Then when he comes back give him the sleeping potion, and you'll get the second ingot. Now downstairs and out of the structure, at the first intersection turn right then straight on to the small house in the forest. Give the hare to the strange animal guarding the house, and you'll get the third ingot, Now return to the top of the temple and on column 7 use the key and place the 3 ingots, you'll get now the wolf bandage. Return to the small forest house, and use the wolf bandage on the door, a woman will appear. Talk to her. Now when the husband will come in and you'll face him at the table, click down and use the sleeping potion on the big cup. Talk to your sister and get the second wolf bandage, now go out and at the first intersection click on the right spot , use wolf instinct, then the 2 wolf bandages on the sword, and watch the ending of adventure 3. @~To be continued - o -
