LAND BEYOND THE PICKET FENCE Solution by Peter Clark The game begins with you finding out about a little girl who has had her yoyo stolen. Whoever took it went from the roadway through the gate in a small picket fence. You automatically go through the gate. Go North to the Forest of Toadstools and get the tea bag. Now go South and West to the Garden Path and pick up the shears. Go Northwest into the Cottage and get the kettle. Open the cupboard and get the slice of bread. Now go Southeast and Northwest to the Pond. Fill the kettle from the pond. There is a swan swimming here. Feed the swan with the bread. You see that swan has a piece of ribbon around its neck with a key attached to it. Cut the ribbon with the shears and get the key. Drop the shears and go back to the Cottage. Put the kettle on the stove and turn the stove on. Wait until the scientist comes from his Lab and give him the teabag. He will go outside and sit on the bench. There is a trapdoor in the cottage floor so go down to the Lab and open the cabinet. Take the light green liquid, the purple liquid and the fungicide. Now go back Up, Southeast, East, East and Northeast to the Fungus Room. Spray the fungicide on the carpet of mushrooms and then pour the light green liquid on the mushrooms. Wait until a door is revealed. Unlock the door with the key and then open it. Go North into the Treasure Room. There are many items here but all you need are the yoyo and the lump of metal. Put the lump into the purple liquid and then drop the purple liquid. Go South and there will be an explosion. The gnome who is guarding the exit will go to see what it is and you can go Southwest, West and South back to the Roadway where you started. This will finish the game with maximum points. - o -
