Star Trek: Starfleet Command All the ship's configuration info can be found in a text file which you can use Excel to edit. The file is called "sfbspc13.txt" and it is located in "assets\specs\sfbspc13.txt" in the main directory of the game. By editing the file you can add just about anything you wish to your ship or the computers. This is a small list of things you can add: Add cloaking ability. Add shuttles and fighters. Add/change weapons. Modify engine power levels. Modify shield levels. You will need to save the original file in case you want to restore the game as before. You also will need to remove the "read-only" attribute from the file, which shouldn't be too hard to do. Also, if you try using it for multiplaying, each person will need the modified file or it won't work. Prestige Cheat: First you will need to start a campaign game; any race and era will do. When you start the game, you will need to remember the class of your s hip. So if you start with an F-FF Frigate then you would want to remember the F-FF. Open the "sfbspc13.txt" and look for the "BVP" at the "F-FF" "BVP" value and change it to 2000 or higher if you wish. Then save the file and return to the game. Load the game then go into the shipyard; you will then notice the trade-in value for your ship is high. Cloaking: Cloaking is very easy to add to any ship. Just go to the area that reads "Cloak num" and place a value for how much energy you want as the cost to run the cloak. - o -
