Super Text Twist Part of SynTax CD 2 Reviewed by Sue This game is another one from Gamehouse who programmed Super Nisqually, also reviewed in this issue and it's an equally addictive puzzle game. At first look, it appears to be a combination of Hangman and Scrabble. You're given a selection of 6 or 7 letters and have to make as many words from them as you can. All the possible words are displayed as a series of empty boxes, so you'll know how many words of each number of letters you should be able to make. This is a nice touch because it shows you what you need to aim for. As you select the letters to use in your chosen word, they are moved into a working area, then pressing an Enter button tests if your word is valid. If so, its box is completed. Other buttons let you Clear your letters or Twist the remaining ones. This shuffles them and may give you an idea for a word to try. Like Super Nisqually, the unregistered version lets you run Super Text Twist 20 times. Then you must register it at www.gamehouse.com, which costs $19.95 - o -
