Playing with the Property Page - The Sims Online The Property Page is a secret gem of a tool in The Sims Online Simply by left- clicking on *any* property in map view, whether it is online or offline, you'll get insight into what this property and its tenants are all about. Primarily, this oval-shaped Property Page is the main launch pad for a Sim into the actual property. Just click on the large arrow of the property page to enter. Each property picture is unique; it shows an image of the owner indicated by a small house icon overlay. This is also where you find out who the owner and roommates are -- with a click the page expands to provide each roommates' image and a description of the property. (You can also find out more about each of the roommates by simply left-clicking on any of their pictures. This will send you to their Sim Page!) You will want to use the Property Page a bit differently depending on if it is your Property Page (is it a Welcome mat or a Do Not Disturb sign?) or if you are trying to scope a place to meet friends throughout The Sims Online. As an owner or roommate, the Property Page is your free advertising to the world. You can express as much or as little about your digs as you or your roomies want. The owner is the only one who can edit this profile, so make sure consensus is met. And fear not! Be as creative and timely as you like, the description can be changed as often as needed. As a potential visitor, you may be looking for something in particular or some kind of Sim in particular. The in-game browser includes an in-game search engine, the top 100 list and the map filters. Click on any of the properties in these listings to get to the property page. You can find Sims with similar game or real-life interests as you by perusing the property description or left-clicking on the roommate or owner's image to get access to their Sim Page. You get all this information about the other Sims and their places, without even stepping a Sim toe into or out of the property! - o -
