Inferno's Adventures A new site at http://home.earthlink.net/~angeldancer27 Howdy All Y'all: It's Infernoj13usa (from Gameboomers and Gtz) ....and some of you know me as "Angeldancer27" from ebay As I write this email, I hope that this year keeps y'all healthy, hale and hearty. I'm writing to tell y'all about what I've been doing for the past month. I've created a new website for adventure gamers which holds my thoughts and writings of particular games I'm passionate about, and a special section devoted to those "gamers" who use Windows XP as their OS. For the past year, (since I took delivery of my XP system) I sadly discovered that this OS can be indeed an "adventure" in itself when trying to get my beloved older legacy games (and even a few of the newer ones) to run on XP. So many times when I would ask the various support sections of the larger companies for help, to my dismay many of them either didn't respond at all or gave me the "standard" Official XP Compatibility list and basically said "tough cookies, honey". Being the tenacious "displaced-New-Yorker-who-has-now-become-a-Texan" I started to work on each of these games to get them to run with my OS. I've been very fortunate with a lot of them so far. I was thinking that these findings are something that the adventure gaming community at large would benefit from (my scribblings); so instead of keeping them to myself I've created a small website where XPers could go maybe find some needed help. I call them "Setup Walkhroughs" and they are written in "plain English" with graphics and are easy to read. And so, Inferno's Adventures was born. I have launched the site and invite you all to take a look. I truly hope that it will be some what of a benefit to all who have a love of "adventure games".
