An Elder Scrolls Legend Battlespire - Part 4 Walkthrough by Vic Horsley See also the map in the screenshots section Continued from last issue Sixth Level: Place of the Hunt. It's nice to get out in the sunlight for a while, or is it? You begin this level standing on a small wooden jetty, at the south west side of a Island, there is a boat behind you, two scrolls in front of you and a "Black Seducer" ahead of you, pick up the scrolls and read them, then speak to the flyer (I shall carry on calling them this), she will set the story for you, then search the basket near by, there is also some armour under the jetty that's worth getting. There is now a choice of what to do, either go inland and to the north to find the old man, which is the aim of course, or jump in the boat and circle the Island, doing this does give you a better idea of where to go but also takes a little time to complete the round trip. If you take the boat stay a little way from the land, so as not to be caught by enemy missiles and save often. This is a small oval or egg shaped Island very green and colourful, also very hilly. This makes it hard to see what's coming at you, there is a inlet from the sea on the south eastern side. This circles up to approximately half way up the Island and makes the waterway shaped something similar to a question mark, use this water to your advantage, you can swim anywhere providing you are light enough. The aim of this area or Island is to collect all the keys to escape it, the keys are large easy to see and are spread in various locations, although its not that easy because you cannot kill the attackers on this Island, but they can certainly kill you, make yourself as light as possible, you should only carry one other weapon besides what you are using and only the armour you are stood up in plus the potions, weapons will not harm the enemies but they will knock them away for a little while, the order of the day is run away, This place is swarming with all the enemies you have faced through the game and they come at you from all sides, you must run and they will follow for some distance. If you go into the water they are limited to how far they can go, so swim out a little way, use your compass and map to get back if you lose sight of land. Back on the Island, there are little clusters of buildings scattered all over the land it is in these you will find the keys, easier said than done. If you can get close to a building and sneak in quick they will not follow although there could be others inside, these do not move so quickly and you are given more chance to search. There are some scattered chests and some potions but all these are guarded, so you have to run to them, open and get out quick, unless your health is at premium, you will die many times on this Island, so it can't be stressed enough the priority in saving your game, every five minutes would seem right. There are so many colours and images on this area and they all come together so often that it causes real problems in the game, my computer has crashed no less than seven times on this level and it has corrupted some of my files (not happy). I have had to give up on the game it has done more damage than I am prepared to go on with, I have lost a few very special files and it has knocked out my internet connection, but it is best to point out that for the sake of doing this walkthrough I have been running three set-ups alongside one another and this has undoubtedly caused conflicts, playing just one game should not give the same result but you will, without doubt meet some problems as mentioned earlier in the game. One last thing - the Cabin you need to find is plumb in the middle of the island and close to the north tip, the small islet citadel is also just north of it, but get into the cabin I never did. It is surrounded by all sorts, I made the door once, only to be killed as I was about to enter, but had I had more health points I would have made it, I was looking for more potions when my computer troubles started. Best of luck, there is only one more level after this. @~I'll find this from another source next issue ... Sue December 2002. - o -
