Internet Download Gives Gamers Exclusive Opportunity to Preview
This Holiday's Hottest Real-Time Strategy Game

Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) today announced an exclusive
beta-test program that gives thousands of gamers the opportunity
to participate in the public beta test for The Lord of the Rings:
War of the Ring (War of the Ring), their upcoming real-time
strategy (RTS) game due to be released November 4th.

Available only to the first 5,000 FilePlanet subscribers to
download the beta version, interested gamers are encouraged to
immediately download the War of the Ring multiplayer beta by

The beta test program will focus on multiplayer play balancing and
load testing to ensure the best possible launch for the ambitious
RTS and includes five multiplayer maps.

All beta testers will have access to a private message board to
communicate directly with the developers at Liquid Entertainment
and VU Games.
