This site is an index of the games at the IF Archive at 
www.ifarchive.org including some reviews. These are not meant 
to be comprehensive but mostly to steer players away from any 
turkeys or ones containing features people often object to. 
These include sudden death, puzzles with illogical solutions, 
time based puzzles, mazes and GAGS games. 

There are links to the 10 latest reviews and games reviewed in 
the last week. You can search the guide or list the IF archive 
games by title, genre, rating, platform, and a few other indices. 
You can read up on the different authors and companies, and 
check out annual awards like the XYZZY Awards, IF Comps and 
other less well known awards such as the Mini-comps and 
International Obfuscated C Code Contest. No, I've never heard 
of it either.

One section covered games series. I remembered several of 
these that I'd played in the past and got quite misty eyed. Like 
me, did you play the Ket Trilogy, Brian Howarth's Mysterious 
Adventures, Scott Adams Classic Adventures and The 
Questprobe games? What about the Fighting Fantasy games - 
Seas of Blood and Rebel Planet on the Speccy? Ah, nostalgia! 
You can't beat it.
