Editorial I can't believe the final issue of SynTax has come round. When I decided to finish on issue 90, there was still a year to go. It's gone all too quickly and here I am, writing mt last Editorial. I've tried to make this issue of SynTax as lively as all the others but there are some sections missing such as Sales, Help and Email Addresses. I suppose it was inevitable that the last issue would go out late, like the last few. With my life revolving round commissions and deadlines, all my good intentions came to nothing when the last two weeks of May brought in more work than ever before. That's no bad thing, of course, and my mortgage was very grateful. But I was disappointed that after making a good start with Issue 90, I was still late in the end. As this is the last issue I'm making the final SynTax Contributor of the Year award. There haven't been many contributions during the last year and the final winner is Stefan Herber. Stefan has been a steady contributor to SynTax since he started taking it so I was pleased he got a prize before it closed. Second is Neil Shipman. Neil has taken SynTax since Issue 1 and we've met a number of times over the years though not in the last two years. Third place goes to Nick Edmunds. Nick has also contributed regularly over the years. These three have been jostling at the top of the table for months. Well done to all of them, especially Stefan. I've sent him and Neil 'Land of Dragons' figures, Stefan's on an inscribed base. And I've send Nick a 'Myth and Magic' figure. No free issues this time, for obvious reasons ... As I expected, I did move into my new flat just in time for the last issue - another time consuming complication. I've still got over 120 boxes to unpack and no time to do them! For those who want to keep in touch, my new address is at the end of this section. I hope you will. I've made some good friends while working on the magazine. My email address will continue as before as will the SynTax website. But the onliune issues will be moving to a new home. I've been offered free web space by Don Brodale, an editor for dmoz.org, who said he'd directed a number of people to the site and didn't want to see it close. I don't have the address yet but if you do a search for SynTax in the future I'm sure you'll find it. If not email me and I'll tell you. It will be strange in future to play games just for my own benefit, not with a view to doing a review. That will take some getting used to! Thanks to all of you for being part of SynTax. It's been a very happy part of my life and I'm sorry to say goodbye. Health, happiness and good fortune to you all for the future. Keep adventuring! Love Sue 265A Main Road Sidcup Kent DA14 6QL - o -
