Knightmare (Mindscape) Sent in by Alex van Kaam Alex supplied maps for the game, which he played on an ST, but they're on an ST single sided disk and I can't access them any longer so unfortunately I can't upload them. But I'm sure it will help to know that his map references are given as A, A1, B, B1 to Z1 from left to right and 1, 2, 3 to 32 from top to bottom. ------------------------------------------------------------------- KM 01.PC1 / starting level You start on O1,29. There is nothing to do in this area so you step in the transporter at P1,27 which will transport you to A,27. Here you will find a cupboard at B,27 which contains three balls. Give these balls to the two players at the back row and now ready them to be thrown. Also ready the hands of the two players at the front. You are now ready for your first battle. Step into the wagon and it will start to roll. When it enters the second room push the right arrow to step off. If you missed it don't worry; when the wagon reaches the end of the track it will roll back so you can try again. Here you will see your first enemy, a giant (if I am correct). Throw the balls towards him and when he is in front of you fight with the hands of the two front players (right mouse button on each hand). A tactic I always use in these kinds of games is: Make sure you are on a four square, hit the monster, move one step aside, take one turn towards your old position and your enemy will appear on that spot. Hit the monster, and so on. After you have killed the monster go to H,32 and collect the cloths. Step into the wagon and roll to the third room. To get off push left. Enter the transporter which will transport you to N,24. This is the forest from where you can choose your quest. At M,24 you will find a twig which you can use as a weapon in the hands of the front row. At this point is also a lever which will open a path at M1,20. In the forest are some monsters (goblins) and a big green face. Kill them all and collect all the items that you can find. There are also rabbits running around which are a very good food source (when you are fast enough to kill them). With the key you find at T,1 you can open the door at I1,3. Don't do this yet; behind the door are 2*2 giants which are very very hard to kill at this stage of the game. Kill them when you return from your second quest. These giants guard a shovel, with this you can dig in the grass. When you dig at a point where there are pink flowers you will find an apple. (You will need all the food you can get later on in the game so do not spoil it). If everything is correct you found some candy and a small knife. You also must have seen the living trees that guard the entrance to each quest : L,2 = Quest for the shield of justice S1,14 = Quest for the cup of life I1,15 = Quest for the sword of freedom S1,19 = quest for the crown Go and stand in front of the tree at L,2 and start hitting it. Don't throw anything because it will bounce back to you and hurt you instead. When the stamina of the first two players reaches zero swap them with the second two players, give them the weapons and start hitting until their stamina reaches zero, now take one step back and go to sleep. When all the bars are full you can continue your attack. This will take a very very long time so be patient. When the tree is dead it will leave a staff for your healer/genie/ magician. You can now enter the quest for the shield of justice. Some tips: Each weapon or staff will help the player who carries it to gain a level in a profession. pen knife = adventurer twig = adventurer knife = gladiator kitchen knife = adventurer short sword = gladiator sheath = samurai chain saw = samurai wand of magic = magician staff of mystic = genie cross of aid = healer So when one player fights long enough with the twig he will gain a level in adventure, then change the weapon with some other player so he can gain a level in adventure. Keep doing this with all the weapons and staffs so all players will be as strong as possible. A healer can only heal the player who is in front of him, so he can never heal himself (keep this in mind when you create your characters). My group has 2 healers, 1 magician, 1 genie. I am not saying that this is the best team but it is still serving me very well at this moment and I can use all the magic staffs that are in the game. ----------------------------------------------------------------- KM 02.PC1 / quest for the shield of justice You start the game at I,31. At K,32 you find a key and at J1,30 and J1,28 you find a cupboard with some stuff in it you can use. At J,30 you will see the tree of life and death. When you step on the same square as the tree it will drain your energy until you are dead, but if you throw a heart of a dead player at the tree he will be reincarnated. All over the level there are monsters so if you see one kill it. From now on I will only mention the monsters that are important. Don't forget to look everywhere for a key or something else. I am only human so I may have forgotten to write it on the map. And don't forget to save often !!!!! At K1,31 there is a lever. When you pull this lever the cannon at K1,24 will throw a fireball at you, so you've been warned, and don't forget the key at M,30. When you put an object on the cross at I,17 the wall at J,17 will disappear. When you are at J1,8 first enter the door at your left. After killing the giant, kill all the sharks that are in the water at K,4 and at L,8 and L,9. This will be very handy later on in the game. To open the door at M1,14 you have to step on to the cross at L,18. Behind this door there are some monsters you must kill so beware. And do not forget the monster that is in the room behind the cross at L,18. When all the monsters have been killed, pull the lever at M,18 to remove the wall at N,18. Behind the door at N,21 there are at least 2/3 groups of monsters so look out that you don't walk into a dead end. When the monsters have been killed, pull the lever at L1,27 to remove the wall at L,27 so you have a short cut to the tree of life and death. Explore the rest of this area and then enter the sewers at O1,24. Stepping onto the cross at O1,19 will make the walls at O,18 and O1,18 and P,18 disappear. Stepping onto the cross at O1,16 will make the walls at O,15 and O1,15 and P,15 disappear. At O1,9 you will see a boat - just step on it and you can sail away. If you killed all the sharks earlier on in the game they will not trouble you, If you didn't ... look out! Pushing the levers at M,2 and at M1,8 will remove the walls at L1,7 and at N,12. Pushing the lever at N1,12 will remove the wall at L,4. After killing all the giants and pushing all the levers/buttons and collecting all the items go to L,4. Here you will find another boat so you can enter the second lake. Insert the key at J1,2 and you can enter the transporter at J,4 which will transport you to F1,30. This is the jail. You can open a door by pushing the button at B,30 (just walk through the wall at B1,29). Use the room at H,29 as a shelter so you can rest and regain some energy. Be sure to kill all the monsters which are in the jail and remember that they can step into the transporter at G,30 which will transport them to I1,5 from where they will step into the transporter at J,4 which will transport them to F1,30. Inside the room you will find a lock. When you insert the key the wall at B,28 will disappear. Behind this wall are two groups of giants....kill them. When you open the door at B,22 look out for the man in the grey cloak. He is not so difficult to kill as it looks, just be sure you have enough room to manoeuvre around (at least a four square). The giant at B1,16 will not move so hit him and step aside. When your weapons are ready hit him again and so on. At B,15 you will find the shield.....CONGRATULATIONS! When you step through the hole at B1,14 you will return to the forest. A tip: The REM spell of the healer will make some zzz at the left bottom of the screen. When you now go to sleep you will regain your energy much faster. ----------------------------------------------------------------- KM 03.PC1 / quest for the cup of life You start at P,15. From here go first to the left to find 4 keys. When you arrive at the transporter at S,13 don't step into it because it will transport you to the hole at T1,15 and you fall into it. Instead throw an apple or something like that into the east, north, and west openings of the transporter. The objects that you throw in will be transported to the hole at T1,15 but because you throw them in they will continue their flight until they hit a wall. So what happens is that the object you throw in will fall on the crosses at T1,16 and T,15 and U,15 which will open the secret doors at S,15 and T,12 and T,11. Kill the monsters and get the first key at T1,11 (don't forget to look for cupboards). Now continue to R,3. The wall with the balls underneath can be moved by pressing the right mouse button on the forward arrow. Continue to S1,3 and go left. If you step into the transporter at T1,1 you will land on the cross at Q1,1. This will open the door at S,1. If you now step back into the transporter you will land on the cross at T,1 which will close the door at S,1. The answer is to stand at S1,1 and throw something in the transporter at T1,1. The door will now open and you can get your second key. Now return to S1,3 and move the wall until you are at U,3 and go to your right. The room you now enter is full of pits and crosses. If you throw something on a cross or step onto it a pit will close. Keep trying to close the pits (don't forget the lever at T1,6) until you can get your third key at S1,9. Now return to the wall and push it forward until it stops. (You can take a detour to the left at V,3 for some extras. If you come to a side track which I did not mention, just take a look). You now are at W,3, go right till the door. Behind this door is one big room (you think). But it isn't, you just can't see the walls. Just use the map until you are at V,24 but look out for the snakes. If you are poisoned by a snake the healer can cure this by CURE. Here are all the options for the healer (if he is strong enough). REM = fast sleep FITNESS = restore stamina RESTORE = restore health AID = heal wounds CURE = cure poison SEE = cure blindness You can make a spell stronger or weaker by clicking with the left or right mouse button on the number which is on the top of the staffs menu. Behind the door at V,24 is a room with walls you can walk through so just use the map for the right way. (Don't forget the cupboards). Behind the door at U1,29 there are some monsters. Kill them and one group will leave your fourth key. Now return to your start point and go right (south). You will now come to a room with nine crosses. When you step on a cross the cannons at the other end of the room will throw a fireball at you. The answer to this is to drop something on the cross and move aside. When the fireball is gone you can walk over the cross and drop something on the next one and move aside. When you are at the other side of the room don't forget to take the fifth key at T1,18. Now go to T1,22 and open the first door. When you have opened all five of the doors you are at S,23. When you step into the transporter at R1,31 you will be transported to T,16 where you can get the items back you threw into the transporter in the beginning of the game. There is also a chest here (very handy). To leave this room walk into the pit and step into the transporter you will find that you are now at S,11 so you have to walk the whole way back again to S,32. The monsters (stone goblins, I think) will keep appearing at R,29. You can use them to give your weak players practice but you cannot stop them from reappearing. First enter the door at Q,32 and kill the 2 monsters, then open the door at O1,32 and kill the snake. Take the key that the snake dropped. (Remember to look in all the cupboards you see). Now go back to R,32 and go north until you are at O1,20. (Kill all the snakes and close the doors behind so you cannot be attacked by a monster from the back). The lock at N1,20 will open the gate at M1,29 and I think that if you step once on the cross at N,20 the monster flow from R,29 will stop. Now go to N,29. The door is now open (if I am correct) and don't forget to close the door at Q,32 so the monsters stay out. This room is full of transporters that transport you to all kinds of different places in the room. You have to reach the cross at K,28 and step onto it to open the secret walls at I1,26 and L,26 and get the key from the genie. Try using the secret corridor which starts at M1,25. When the walls are removed you can choose which door to enter. First the west one: This is a fairly simple room. There are two spinners at J,14 and at K,16 which will turn you around for 90 degrees. In the secret corridor at K1,8 is a switch which will remove the wall at K1,11. If you step on the cross at L,11 the door at L,10 will open and you can insert your first key (which the snake has dropped when you killed him) to open the door at L1,8 and L1,7. And don't forget to get the key from L1,9 for the east room. Now the east room : The lever at O,18 will turn a square of 3*3 with the middle at O,16. There are only three doors but by pulling the lever they will also rotate so you can go north, south, east and west. When you can go north enter the room behind the door. Kill the snake (get key) and stand on the cross at M,11 to open the door at M,10 (don't mind the goblins). If everything is correct you can now open the second door and go up the stairs at L1,6. If not - oops - re-search the level. Did you kill all the monsters? (They sometimes leave behind a key). When you enter the stairs you end up at N,6. Press the button at L,4, kill monsters. Press the button at L,2, kill monsters. Press the button at J1,6. Press the two buttons at M,2, kill monsters. Press the button at J,1, kill the snake and get the cup. Stand on the cross at J,3 and press the button at J,3. Kill the dragon. CONGRATULATIONS! Now you can leave through the transporter at N,1. ----------------------------------------------------------------- KM 04.PC1 / quest for the sword of freedom (map 1) From now on I will be a little more compact in my explanations so you have more fun playing the game. You start at Y,32 and by pressing the button at X1,27 you remove the wall at X,28. To get the keys for the next two doors enter the two other rooms. You are now at S,28. First try to move the walls so that you can get to the button at P1,28 which removes the wall at Q1,32 then step on the cross to open the door at O,32 then move the wall at Q1,31 south and step on the cross at R,31 to open the door at M,32. Now get the key. (If you did it wrong and you are stuck, the button at S,19 will remove the wall at K1,32 so you can still get your key, but without getting the extra objects!) Now go to T,26 and go north. (Open the door with the switch at T,24). When you step on a cross fireballs will be thrown at you from the north and east. The answer is: Move as quickly as you can to U1,24, wait till the fireballs hit the wall and then push the button. This stops the cannon at W1,22 Then go to V1,22 and push the button to stop the cannon at V,16. Next go to V,17 (watch the fireball from the right) and push the button to stop the cannon at W,16. Now go to W,21 to stop the cannon at Y,16. Go north again from V,22 to V,16 and go east. You now should see the second key. At T,26 go east. This is very simple; just locate the buttons to remove the walls and kill all the monsters and get your third key. At T,26 go west then through the door at O,27, kill the monster and get the key, then go to L,22. First push the button then move the wall at M,23 to the east, get the weapon and move the wall at L1,22 to the west. Now make your way to M,16 by killing the monsters and push the buttons to open the doors. Next go to P,24 and enter the door to your north. When you stand on the cross at Q,23 all the secret walls in this room will be removed and a lot of skeletons will appear (look out). Kill them all and get the key at Q1,24. You now should have enough keys (4) to open the doors at S,24 + S,22 + S,20 + S,18. Behind these doors is a ghost which can be killed by using DISPEL from the staff of magic. Here you also will see the button to remove the wall at K1,32 and a tree of life and death. Go up the stairs and you will end up at J1,16. Don't worry about the well yet. Go to I1,14. (Every time you step onto the cross you will get a fireball thrown at you. The only way not to get hurt is using the BLOCK spell from the staff of mystic). To open the door at I,14 use the OPEN spell from the staff of magic. At F1,8 go north. To open the doors at F,3 and H1,6 push the buttons at F,4 and H,6, fight your way to the end and get everything you find (funny stick, healstone, bronze key). At F1,8 go west, now you come to a transporter puzzle. To get through follow the next guide carefully. Stand at D,9 (facing to the north) and push the following movement arrows: NORTH, NORTH, get the eggs, WEST, SOUTH, NORTH, EAST, get the key, SOUTH, WEST, now open the door and kill the monster, get the key. Go to F1,8 and go south. As soon as you step onto the cross at D,14 all the secret walls will be removed so get the key at C1,14 and fight your way out of the room. (Don't forget to close the door when you are out of the room). Go back to I1,16 and go west. Open the doors at B1,11 and C1,11 and get all the objects. Go back to I1,16 and open the south door. Push the lever at I1,19 to remove the wall at J,16. The pit at I1,29 can be closed by putting an object on the cross at I1,28. The other six crosses will trigger a cannon at B,28 so put an object on the cross and step aside. When the fireball has passed go to the next cross. (Don't forget the key at G,29). Open the door at B1,29 and kill all the dragons but don't go in. When all the dragons are dead you can enter, The cannon at B,28 will keep shooting fireballs. I marked the path which the fireballs take so look out. Push the button at F,22 to remove the wall at E1,18. Push the button at E,18 to remove the wall at F1,27. Stepping on the cross at F,28 will turn the cannon on/off. Push the button at E1,28 to remove the wall at G,23. You will now see a jester at F1,23, go to G1,23 (watch the fireballs) and throw the funny stick (what, you don't have it? Didn't look everywhere, did you?) at the jester. He will leave a coin for you. Now go back to your starting point and go to the well. (Don't forget the objects you put on the crosses). Now use the heal stone (you have found it, haven't you?) and cast CURE at the well. If the spell worked the well has grown and you can go down.... ------------------------------------------------------------------ KM 05.PC1 / quest for the sword of freedom (map 2) You will start at J1,31. Kill all the sharks and throw the coin at the ferryman (like with the jester). Use the boat to get to K1,21 and get the key. Go to P,27 and enter the transporter, you will be transported to P,24. Kill the monster and open the door. Kill the witch and go to O,22, push the button to open the door at O,15. Now go to P1,19 and follow the line to the door at O,15. If you step onto another square outside the line, the door at O,15 will close. Push the button again to open the door. Go through the door at O,15 and kill all the monsters. Insert the key at Q1,15 to open the door at N1,3 and kill the witch and get the sword of freedom. Push switch at N1,1 to remove the wall at R,4. CONGRATULATIONS! You can exit through the transporters at Q1,3 and Q,1. ----------------------------------------------------------------- KM 06.PI1 / quest for the crown (map 1) You start at J1,2. Here you will find 5 empty rooms and 1 room with some stairs upwards. Every time you step on J1,23 a monster will appear in each of the 5 rooms so keep the doors closed and don't forget the cabinet at I,27. Up the stairs at L,24 to K1,22. Every time you step on the cross at L,20 a spider will appear at M,16. Get the chainsaw at L1,16 and go down again. Go to J1,23 and push the wall north until you are at J1,13. To kill all the dragons that appear when you move the wall use the room with the stairs as your hideout (all the other rooms will be full of monsters because you stepped on J1,23) and don't forget to get the spanner and the skull of status and to close the door at K,25 when all the dragons are dead. The skull of status can be used by the healer; further on in the game you will meet some wizards who will cast 'dumb' on you, this can be healed with IQ from the cross of life and you can use the skull of status to bring your stats up to normal or more. Push the switch at I1,22 to open the wall at I1,12. Kill the small dragon and go down the stairs at I,9 to F1,23. Get on the 'conveyor of life' and throw the spanner north. If you threw at the right moment the conveyor will stop, if you didn't the spanner will hit your members in the back, pick it up and keep trying. Kill the knight (recognise him from the box ??) and get the key, go back up the stairs and kill the dragon at J1,6. Every time you step on J1,5 bats will appear, the best thing to do is move as quickly as you can to I,7 so they can only attack you from the front. Kill them all and go to L1,4 (don't forget to close the door behind you, you will find out why later on). Push the switch to rotate a 3*3 square with the middle at M1,3. Be sure you understand how this works because it will return throughout the rest of the game, (there is even a level with four of these and only 3 doors!). Keep pushing the switch until you can enter the room at N1,3. Kill the dragon and pull the lever to remove the wall at M1,5. Return to the switch, push it until you can go into the room at M1,5. When you step on the cross at M,7 the two walls will disappear and you can kill all the dragons. Go up the stairs at K1,6 to B1,32. Get into the wagon and throw objects over the bushes onto the crosses. If you threw something onto the right cross the wall at B,20 will disappear, if you threw something onto the wrong cross a snake will appear at A1,28. Get off the wagon at B,20. To cross the water drop items from each of your characters until their weight is displayed in dark-brown figures. Save the game, stand in front of the water and use the keyboard to go north 2* very quickly, if you did it fast enough you will make it....just. The cross at D1,20 will open/close all the other four doors, kill the wizards (let one out, close the doors and quickly go to a 2*2 square). Push the switch at D,13 to remove the wall at C,20. Now you can get all the objects you threw from the wagon, and stand on the cross at C,28 to remove the wall at L,8. Now get back into the wagon and go down the stairs at B1,32 to K1,6. There is now a knight on the loose (he came from the room behind the wall you removed) but he can't get far because you closed the door at L,3 (and keep it closed). Kill him and get the key for the door at N,6. If you step onto the cross at M1,6 the doors at K,32 and J,25 will open and the monsters from these training rooms will be free, but because you kept the door at L,3 closed you are safe for the moment, and because the door at K,25 is closed they can't go into the rest of this level. I don't know what that 'rain' is but I never stayed long in it. Kill the knights in this room and pull the switch at N1,9 to remove the wall at L1,25. Now go to L1,25 and watch out for the bats and dragons on the loose. If you closed the door at K,25 in the beginning of this level you are now safe, if you didn't - look out. From here go north to P1,12 and enter the door to the south. At Q1,15 and Q1,16 you will find 3 switches. Each switch turns a block of 3*3 with the middle points at P1,14 and P1,18 and R1,18. This is a good opportunity to let you learn with this so I won't give a solution to this, just try to make the corridor as is shown on the map. Go down the stairs at R,11 to O,4. Kill the ghosts with DISPEL from the wand of magic and push the switch at Q,5 to remove the wall at T,5. Cast OPEN at the door at T1,8 and throw something through the door. Cast OPEN at the door at T1,2 and throw something through the door. Pull the lever at T1,1 to remove T,9. Go to U1,9 and cast OPEN to the north and shoot an arrow to the north. Kill the giant that is behind the door at V,1 and get the key. Go up the stairs at O,4 to R,11 Go through the door at P,22, kill the 3 pairs of knights and walk through the wall at R1,21, pull the switch at W,22 to remove the wall at U,16 and go through the door at T1,16.(you can walk through the long line of walls). Kill the dragon and push the switch at V,16 to remove the wall at W,20 and go to X,19. Here you will find the same situation as in the quest for the shield, just step on the crosses to remove the walls. But look out at the last cross, behind the walls are 12 purple dragons and 1 big mama dragon......... Kill them all (save a lot) and get the key from the big dragon. Go to N,24 and insert the key to remove the wall at N1,23. Go down the stairs at O1,24 to F,25. Stepping on the cross at G1,27 will create spiders you have to kill and when you step on the cross at G1,32 you can return to the stairs (No use at all). Stepping on the cross at E,26 will open the door, enter, kill the wizards, get the key, stand on the cross at D,26 and go back up the stairs to O1,24. Insert the key to remove the wall at P1,25, when you step onto the cross at Q1,25 the wall at R,25 will be removed and placed behind you at Q,25. Kill the two knights and get the twig, put it on the cross at S1,28 to remove the wall at S1,31. The crosses at V1,31 and V1,29 will turn a 3*3 square with the middle point at X,31 and X,29. Kill the 3 dragons and stand on the cross at X1,23 to remove the wall at M1,26. Go to M1,26 insert the starkey and go through the door. Here you will see a tree of life and death, a switch at N1,27 which will remove the wall at M,23 so you can go back outside and hunt some rabbits (one of your last chances to get enough food) and some stairs down to ...... ------------------------------------------------------------------ KM 07.PI1 / quest for the crown (map 2) You start at A,13, don't worry about the door yet. Stepping on C,15 will remove wall C,16 and place it at B1,15. Kill the 2 knights and get the key, insert the key at D,17 to open the door at D1,23, in this room the ghosts keep appearing, kill them with DISPEL. Pushing the button at C,28 will open/close the door at F1,27. Stepping on the cross at G1,28 will remove the wall at B1,15 and open all the other doors. Now go to the door at B,17 and cast OPEN at it, now throw something through the door to close the pit (it has to fall onto the cross). The best thing you can do now is to let the knight out and use the room as your shelter for the ghosts and the knight. Kill the knight and get his key, insert the key at B,26 to remove the wall at H1,26. Go into the transporter at I,26 to I1,11. You now are on floor 3 of a tower, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you STEP ON EVERY SQUARE because some of them will remove a wall on one of the 3 floors, so if you encounter a wall and I didn't mention it in the text just search all the 3 floors. Go through the door at J1,8 and kill the skeletons, stepping on J,3 will remove wall K,4. Kill the knight and get his key. Go down the stairs at J1,10 to J1,20 and kill the 2 giants. Push the button at J,19 to remove wall L1,20. Go up the stairs at J1,20 to J1,10 and go through the door at K1,10. Kill the skeletons, walk through the wall M,7 and kill the skeletons. Go down the stairs at M1,4 to M1,14 and kill the 3 giants, insert the key at L,20 to remove the wall at L1,19. Kill the ghost and the knight and get the key. Walk through the wall K,16, get the armour and walk on every square in this room to remove the wall at L,25. Go down the stairs at L,17 to L,27, Kill the 4 knights and insert the key at J1,27 to open the door at N,27. Go to N1,27, here you will find 3 transporters: First enter the transporter at O,28 to P,31. Open the door at R,29 and kill the giants and the 2 medusas (if they STONED your front players use DESTONE from the cross of life to cure it). Pull the lever at R1,28 to remove the wall at W,19. Now go back with the transporter at P,31 to N1,27. Enter the transporter at O,26 to P,19, kill the ghosts and fight your way down the stairs until you arrive at W,20. Save game. Enter the transporter at W,18 to W,10, kill the 2 medusas and pull the lever at X,13 to remove the wall at R,23. Stand on the cross at X,18 to remove the wall at W1,18. Go back up the stairs and into the transporter at P,19 to O,26. Enter the transporter at O,27 to P,24. Kill medusa and let one of the knights out of the room behind the door at R,22, kill him and let the other knight out, kill him also and get the key. Now go back up the tower and insert the key at N1,6 and go through the door. Here you will find a room with 3 crosses and 3 stairs. Each stairway leeds to a sublevel where you have to get a staff. When you put the 3 staffs on the 3 crosses the 3 walls at O,11 and O1,12 and P,12 will disappear so you can continue. Go down the stairway at P,7 to .... ------------------------------------------------------------------ KM 08.PI1 / quest for the crown (map 3) You start at H,32, enter the boat and go to F,29, here are 5 crosses. The middle cross is the reset cross so if you did something wrong just step on it and start again. You have to step on the crosses in the following order: C,32 then F,26 then C,26 then F,32. Go to the edge of the second pool and kill all of the sharks, now go with the boat to N1,2 and push the button, you now can enter the second pool with your boat. Go to the edge of the third pool and kill all of the sharks, now go with the boat to P1,2 and push the button, you now can enter the third pool. The cross at S1,9 generates more sharks so don't get onto it. Go to the edge of the fourth pool and kill all of the sharks. Now go with the boat to V,3 and get off the boat to V,2. You now have to cross one part of water to get to the switch at V1,1. Push it and you can enter the fourth pool. Go to Z,1 and push the button, this will remove the wall at Y1,7. Behind this wall are 4 witches, one of them has a key. The first time I killed all the witches when they were above the water, after that I couldn't find the key so the best thing to do is kill them in the area behind the wall you removed (Y1,7).
