Other files have been taken from the public domain, either via the
Internet or from CDs. The original authors of these are given
credit if known. Only SynTax subscribers are eligible for an
award.

The final SynTax Contributor of the Year award will be made in
Issue 90, May 2004. To recap the points system, points are awarded
at the rate of 1 point per published K of information in the form
of reviews, solutions, hints, maps, letters and articles.  Points
are NOT awarded for graphic files such as screendumps and photos.
The points are added when the data is published, not when it is
sent in.  Files are published as soon as possible but maintaining
the balance of the magazine is also a high priority.  The prizes
are fantasy figures for the top three contributors, the winner's
also coming on a base with an engraved plaque. There won't be any
free issues for obvious reasons!

From now on I will remove names of anyone whose SynTax sub has
lapsed after their second reminder.

Contributions are always welcome for old or new games, hints,
solutions, reviews, maps, articles - anything! Ideally they should
arrive before the 15th of the month before the disk is produced to
have a chance of being included in the next issue.  Second (or
third) opinions of adventures are always welcome.  Ideally I'd
like contributions on disk or by email. But you can also send
printouts, typed or hand-written contributions.
